The Relationship Between Solar Data And

Ghost Hunting/Paranormal Research

	Solar X-Rays: Basically, this is when a solar flare is thrown from the sun and then is crashed back onto its surface. When this happens, solar x-rays and other radiation is forced out towards the Earth at very high speeds.
	Geomagnetic Storm: A geomagnetic storm happens when charged particles from the sun (or solar wind) hit the Earth. Geomagnetic storms effect all types of magnetic fields, and can even interfere with radio transmissions.
	Moon phases: The moon's position has an affect on magnetic fields that even controls our ocean's tides. Near or on a full moon seems to be a good time to get results out in the field.

Why We Monitor Solar Activity

During geomagnetic storms, researchers usually get good results out in the field. Why? Well, from research using Gauss/EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) meters, we know that the presence of spirit often produces/disturbs electro magnetic energy in the area, so solar weather may also affect their environment. We often find that spirits "feed" off electrical sources such as electrical appliances and batteries to get this energy, but on days when the air is full of excess energy due to a solar storm, they have lots of energy around to tap into. So, we always keep a look out for geomagnetic storms when planning our ghost hunts.

Solar Data Readings And What They Mean

Solar X-Ray Monitor Readings:

	Solar X-ray flux is quiet.
	Solar X-ray flux is active.
	An M Class flare has occurred. (powerful)
	An X Class flare has occurred. (more powerful)
	An unprecedented X-ray event has occurred

Geomagnetic Field readings:

	The Geomagnetic Field is quiet.
	The Geomagnetic Field has been unsettled.
	A Geomagnetic Storm has occurred.

Basically, If a M, X, or Mega Flare has occurred, and/or the Geomagnetic Field reads Unsettled or Storm, It's probably good solar weather for ghost research.
