I remember the first time I ever googled Urban legends I was hooked. I do have some fav’s but I would like to hear if anyone else has some that they want to share before I post mine…..
So if you know any really really good Urban Legends that you would like to share please post them…….specially if they have to do with the area you live in ect

Here is a local Erie urban legend.
In a small wooded area just off of Sterrettania Road in Millcreek . A quiet area at day, but at night, who knows what's creeping around the back woods.
Our story begins many years ago at an old farmhouse, the scene of a brutal murder. Where a young mother and her children hacked to death in their own home by her husband, in a jealous rage over alleged attentions paid from the wife to a farm hand.
A few years later
During the autumn rain as often the case in Erie, A young couple was driving down a narrow road in Millcreek. The car began to slide in the mud and became stuck, the young man got out to go for help telling the woman to stay in the car and lock the doors until he returned. She felt a little uneasy but not overly alarmed. The rain continued pattering on the car drowning out other noises out side the car, sometimes raining so gently she could hear every branch twist in the wind and every twig snap.
Then she heard a noise, unable to see anything in the dark she believed it to be some animals fighting or a night owl struggling with its prey. Then she heard a gurgling sickly sound over the sound of rain on the roof. She drops to the floor terrified to move. Then light flooded the car and she heard a stern but not unsympathetic voice told her, “Get Out.”>
As she unlocked the door and got out of the car, she looked around in the pouring rain and she screamed in terror. The light shown on what was sung in front of her, her boy friend hung by his ankles his throat slit. She ran screaming help me for the figure holding the light; his free arm extended to her His Axe glistening in the rain.
The legend lives on; the story didn't die that night. The Hollow is still there, now there are more homes near by. Just ask any long time resident of Erie they'll show you where it is.
Maybe they'll even take you there. _________________ I wasn't mad until I got a belly full of Erie politics |

Hau Em,
There is one from Niddletown Pa (close by), they say child or childrenwere killedon bridge, but supposedly if you put ear to bridge and rap on it twice, you will here the children gigling,,,,,,... I have tried most things around area,, not so. I dont even get interested with urban ledgends. The only thing that turns me on is pure ghost action, and thats hard to find. |

Ok so this is our Urban legend for my local area,
We have a place here called Mt keria, it's on the south coast of NSW and about 20 min drive from Wollongong. Alot of teens used to hang out there because of the look out, beautiful views of the lights of wollongong and also a beautiful view of the light house and ocean.
So the story goes as you drive up the mountain heading towarrds the Look out there is a series of houses that run along one side as you drive up a very steap hill, on the left, right at the end of the houses is a small little cottage with a white picket fence, now some say that when a family inhabbited the house they had a little girl no older then 10 she used to sit apon the fence and wait for her parents to come home from work while her baby sitter was inside when one evening a Old black ute (pick up truck) approched the young girl and then.........of course like all urban legends she disapeared never to be seen or heard from again. Now they say that if at 12:00 midnight you are to sit or even be close to the fence that the black Ute will apear and you will meet the same fate as the young girl.
Now like all urban legends it's a bit far fetched but it's a goodie specially when you are telling the story at the house sitting on the fence at 2 min to 12 and your friends are shitting them selfs because you have the keys to the car and you wont let them back in it!!! Hahahaha i am soooooo evil sometimes.
