whilst sorting out clothing to give to funeral director to dress my husbands body in i sensed a presence in the room with me, and whilst looking at various photographs to put in the coffin with him i felt two gentle prods in my lower back, months later i again sensed someone with me and the weight of an arm resting across my shoulder,i have moved house long since then but here things regularly dissapear only to reappear in the same place later on, most recently i have watched one of two ornamental apples made of wood move away from the other, there was noone else in the house at the time and this afternoon,i walked from my kitchen area back to my lounge where the lower grate from my fireplace had been moved and placed in the centre of the room on the carpet, just 12 months ago whilst nursing a patient i had never met before she described my father in law who had passed away 4 years earlier and was able to give me messages that i know only he could have done, she told me that there was more i needed to know but just not then,(my own father had passed away only the month before)are these unexplained happenings a spirit trying to tell me something? are they meant to be some sort of reassurance?, im never frightned of the things that happen but wonder whether they are telling me that i must meet up with this patient again for me to learn more. sorry its so long. thanks for listening.

I cannot be sure anyone could ever answer those questions accurately. I live in a very active home where things get moved around, and go bump in the night. I don't believe anyone is trying to tell me anything other then "" Hey we are here" or possibly get the heck outta my house. I get some negative vibes here at times. By that I don't mean anyone talking to me. I just get a really uncomfy feeling at times. I think people tend to read to much into the activity that surrounds them. On the most part I think they are just doing there own thing in their own space and we sometimes intrude on that.

hi ghostlymom, thanks for the reply, you have indeed made a very valid point. i just assumed that as we had moved into a new build house and therefore the first and only inhabitants of this place that nothing else would happen again. i have to admit to being very reassured when i was told by this patient that it was my father in law peter who was around us and looking out for us, and not my husband roger as he would indeed be a very unwelcome guest at any time, i guess with my being told that there was more that peter needed to tell me i have just assumed that these unexplained happenings and feelings are a sign of his frustration at not being able to tell me himself. ive come to the conclusion now that if i am really meant to know then one day this lady and i will meet again and then maybe just maybe, my feelings of whatever is here with us will lighten and i will come to ""accept somwhat"" that this is sometimes just how things are. once again many thanks. sue

Hi Sue,You are very welcome. I am glad you are more at ease with the situation. That really is the important aspect of it all. When I first moved into my home and things started happening I was so frightened. I wanted to move immediately. After doing hrs upon hrs of research I am much more at peace with it. I have my days where something scares me half to death but I don't dwell on it anymore. Just a little tid bit of info and a huge misconception. A brand new built house can still be haunted. It depends on the land it's built on. I also believe you are correct in saying that if Peter is meant for you to know something one way or the other he will get the message to you. Good Luck in your journey. _________________ Founder
