Heya Frank!
Nah, this wasn't so all of the sudden really. A lot of our members have known this was coming for quite awhile. I just didn't want to bring it up again until it was time to actually make the move, because some of the members didn't seem so happy about it, because of the amount of posts we would lose and their post rankings, etc.
Anyway, yes, this is definitely the forum's final resting place! I am hosting it myself now and I have complete control over everything. It's nice to have everything all under one roof! ChatArea was getting too carried away with all of the crumby ads and they were even starting to sneak in popups. There is lots of room for expansion with this forum and a lot of really cool user and admin features/addons/tools I will be adding as we go. This move is definitely the best thing for the forum! Especially in the long run. We don't have to worry about ChatArea ever closing their doors on us or deciding to charge, etc. Besides, look how many more sweet user features we have here for people! *gestures around the forum*
Yeah, it sucks that we lost over 11,000 posts, but everyone is welcome to copy/post their favorite posts from the old forums and we'll just pickup right where we left off. Once the new SHGHRS site and the forum gets resituated in the search engines, we are going to get even waaaaay more visitors here than we ever could have gotten at ChatArea.com.
By the way, Frank, I will go ahead and re-add you as a mod here. If you have any questions about anything that i'm not yet able to answer or if you want to look for ways to help us improve the forums, you can always go to www.phpbb.com.

WOW!!! Meth what a long strange trip that was!!!! Cool looking new site...Love the little emoticons hehe I'll be using them quite often "Methinks"
Felt like I was being sucked into the twilight zone and I ended up here   But glad I'm back..... 8)

What the hell is this crap? This is a supernatural forum. And i can appreciate good stuff like this but c'mon man there are kids on these forums. don't do that crap.
Aedryan Please deal with this spammer. There's links to pornographic stuff all over the forums now and i'm sorry to say that this will lower the forum's reputation.
