Heya Med,
Thanks for sharing your photo with us. This one is kinda different.... My guess is that it was caused by camera movement and a slow shutter - The motion blur was most likely caused by a right to left movement of your arms/camera by trying to center your face in the picture, etc and snapping the picture while your hands were still in motion. There could have possibly even been a smudge on your camera lens too....

The "writing" kinda has me stumped, but it's definitely not cuneiform though. It reminds me more of a serial number or an identification number of some sort. It kinda reminds me of the little numbers/letters ya seen on camera film actually. From what I can tell, the letters seem to be: "ILYIDIII" or something very similar. The letters all show identical motion. You can tell that they all came from the same source, from the same direction (from right to left) and at the same time.

Can you tell us the camera brand and model, Med?

PS Upon further examination of your eyes, I have derived at the conclusion that you were most likely fried on some kind bud during the time of the photo. My guess is that the bud was most likely of the sensimilla or hashish type? Laughing

Hi Med,
Your camera's shutter speed only goes up to 1/2000 Second. That's pretty slow. All I can say is one of our old members had a camera with a max shutter speed of 1/2000 and it CONSTANTLY produced a wide variety of slow shutter anamolies. Take a look at the photos I took during this investigation with his camera for examples:

Just out of curiosity, could you tell me what this photo's original file name was when you transfered it from your camera to your PC?

Actually, I didn't use his camera during that investigation, my wife did.... Take a look at DD's photos from that investigation if ya wanna see some funky camera glitches. I hated that camera! The camera's owner couldn't possibly be a bigger asshole/loser for that matter too! Evil or Very Mad

All of the pics I took that night were definitely bugs and dust though....

Something happened last night, around 4:50am, there was a thunderstorm, and I'm very intrigued by those.

I've pretty much set this whole issue aside, until last night, and this morning.

Umm btw I am not crazy, haha, I am pretty normal, unless you catch me drunk.

Anyways, I stepped outside to watch the storm because lighting was hitting the ground pretty close, and it was really loud. Something strange happened and lightning hit the ground about 20 feet infront of me, and I saw something, other than seeing every drop of rain infront of me, the image of what I saw is unexplainable. I couldn't get back to sleep after that.

Now here is the weirdest part. UPS arrived at my door today. It came from Cotonou, in the Republic of Benin. It contained the necklace, that I had a dream of the night following the picture that I had taken.

What am I to do?? I dont want to tell my uncle.

i still haven't seen it. what's the big deal about a necklace and your uncle? getting mail isn't a crime? And what did you see in the lightning. Can you at least describe it to me, so i know what your talking about. Was it human--inhuman? a vapor? Do tell...I'm all eyes...

Mediah, please do not take this the wrong way but going back and taking the pic's you posted off and placing 287 in there place is a little creepy dude!!!

In regards to the package you got with this necklace inside, i can only remember snips of your posts, but i do remember you mentioning something about the necklace! So if you wanna talk about this again i suggest you post the story again so people have some sort of idea about what you are talking about. However if something is frighting you and you know where the fear is steaming from got to the sorce....i know you said you don't wanna tell your uncle but maybe you have to, you know to let yourself get a hold of this fear and go from there.

Also please do tell us what you seen in the lightning....
