There is something going on in my daughter's room.

First let me say I am a skeptic, so this is hard for me to even try to understand, that is why I am coming to this website, for information.
My daughter is 15 and it seems, that she can feel a presence in her room, sometimes sitting on her bed, or standing over her. She knows their names, John and Rosa, the lady has spoken to her, only after my daughter was so scared she was crying and left her room on several occassion. This Rosa told her not to be scared, she would not harm her. Evidently they do not like it when the door is closed. She also hears alittle girl giggling, usually around 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. Where as John and Rosa usually visit around 10 or 11 at night. I know all this sounds insane, but it is going on, in my daughters room. I have 2 other daughters and their rooms are fine. I just didn't know what to do or where to begin. We are going to set a camcorder in her room tonight, without my daughter's knowledge, I guess just to ease our minds as well. I know she isn't making this up, because I have seen the fear and crying in the beginning. It has been going on about 2 or 2 1/2 months now. Any suggestions, or are we losing our minds.

Thanks for sharing your story. Has anyone else in the house had and ghostly experiences or is it just your one daughter?

You are already on the right track, by trying to collect evidence. Be sure and listen to the audio that your camcorder picks up real closely for spirit voices too!

Please feel free to let me know if you find any anamolies and I will be happy to analyze it for you.

My husband and I had the same experience of feeling there was a presence in our room, and learning that we could not close the door completely, I don't know if whatever it is can't pass through a door. But they did not like the door closed and you could hear them trying to basically get out of our bedroom. My mother-in-law lived in our house before us and she sweared that there was a woman living in our home. I basically was like, yea right, but now I am trying to be more open.
And no, my other two daughters have not had any experiences. But my oldest is definitely scared.
I will keep you posted, if you have any idea's please share them.

Any opinions or suggestions myself or anyone else might have would only be presumptuous and for the most part - misleading. There just aren't any definitive answers. However, you will find most of the common answers people will give you on the following page of our website:

The best advice I can give you is, do not believe anyone, who comes across as having definite answers for you. Most importantly, do not believe a word psychics will tell you and do not agree to pay a fee to anyone, who claims they can rid your home of ghosts.

Aside from that, keep trying to collect as much of your own evidence as you can. You might also want to spend some time at the courthouse, researching the history of your house and your property and learning as much as you can about it. Find out if anyone has ever died in the house or on the property. Who knows, maybe you'll find something....

I just wanted to update you on our happenings. We did some research and found that my husbands parents parents, basically his grandmother and grandfather, they died long before he was born, names were John and Rotha. My daughter had said that these people visiting her names were John and Rosa. Also they had a daughter that died very young, we believe that was their daughter that was giggling. We have went through the family and found some pictures of them and are going to show them to her tonight to see if these are the people. We are no longer scared, more curious now. I just wanted to share this information with you.

Sounds like your daughter, if she knows the names, might have a bit of medium blood in her.
