Mark,
I did a google search on the blue lady house and found a group that investigated the place. They are the New York Pennsylvania Paranormal Society. I don't know anything about them but they might have some information for you. Here is a link to their site.

I hope that helps _________________ I wasn't mad until I got a belly full of Erie politics |

hey i found the blue lady house or what is left of it
which is not much i am going back again
soon from what i found out the house was built in 1865
who originally built the house is not known but
the legend goes that a woman hung herself in the
upstairs bedroom afer her husband was murdered by local
indians and if you hang around after ark you are supposed to be able to see her wearing a blue dress
walking around the property a friend of mine who lives up there says he drove by one night and saw the living room lights on in the house but there has been no power to the house for many years i will be going back soon and i am taking a tent. |

uhm. If you do go to stay the night with a tent try to conceal your tent and most of all be safe and observant. And keep some protection. _________________ Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. |

Do not bring a rifle. That'll only give the police more reasons to arrest you. I meant a tazer, knife, or pepper spray. _________________ Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. |

LOL! It's cool! I was just wondering, because your posts always look really wierd is all.... It's like you hit enter and start a whole new line every 5 or 6 words or something and there aren't ever any periods. It's all good though! _________________

This question has been answered at least a couple dozen times in the EVP thread, but here goes again.... lol
Yes, any kind of recorder will work. Just don't use the voice activation feature if it has it and ALWAYS be sure to use an external mic. Also, be extremely careful to control the environment at all times during your sessions - No whispering and speak in a loud, clear voice. If someone happens to whisper, cough, sneeze, scuffle their feet (or brush their clothing, etc) or make ANY kind of noise whatsoever, make it clear that they must verbally state that they did so and anyone who notices anyone making such a noise should also verbally state it. Also, be very careful to stay away from locations where there is a lot of people and traffic and not to mention running water and squeaky floors, etc. Some recorders are better than others, only because of their simplicity and convenience. For instance; I use an Olympus VN 480 PC. It's digital and it can record up to 480 minutes of audio without ever missing a beat. It also comes with a USB cable, which allows me to easily transfer my audio to my PC.
