Spooky Places

I'm a videographer by trade. I do paranormal and UFO investigations now and then and sometimes I shoot them on video.

I've been doing some updating on my Spooky Places website, added true ghost stories from my own past and a page with three night visions on it about Graceland being haunted.

I added an events page and intend to add a new links page and some other things soon.

I'll be speaking at the Universal Passing Over event in Las Vegas, NV on Oct. 28th. The info on the location of the event and more is posted on the Spooky Places site. Psychic medium Vickie Gay said she would stay over after the event to help us shoot a segment of Spooky Places in a haunted location in the Vegas area.

So far we have myself, my wife (producer) and Laura the hostess going out from here. Matthew (pro camera man) from LA area will be coming in to help.

You need to take the "o" out of "places" in your link or a website not found message comes up.

I had to learn how to design websites because for a while I had a couple of them and so I am going to offer some aesthetic critique on your site. It's waaaay too busy! You need to space stuff out and give each item it's own space. Packed in together in a pile like that tends to distract from the content. It's very overwhelming without making any impact.

OH, that one event that's in Reno, I won't be there for that one. That's some of the same people but a different event. I've been to Reno for two video jobs but I've never been to Las Vegas. And every job cost me money, but I had a good time just the same. I hope to have a nice DVD of some of those paranormal investigations that I hope to sell. Something to help pay the gas home. Wink

Sick with a cold today, can't think and now I'm being called out again by my wife... hehe. Another emergency.

I think I got the extra "O" out of the link.

I don't know about the design, I'm not sure I like it like that either. I've changed it several times and each time it seems a little better but I'm not happy with it yet.

I wanted to do something different than other websites always seem to do so I left the buttons in there but they don't span the other pages on the site. The old standby text buttons are easy to make, in fact much easer to do than the buttons, but seems like everyone is doing text links.

I never have enough time to work on it or the other sites I run and end up doing a little here and there as I can make time.

I think all those links on the home page should be the start of the new links page and that would help quite a bit. With this darn summer cold I caught I'm not thinking very clearly. Supper doesn't taste right either, nothing tastes right come to think of it.

So do we want to keep the buttons and move all the links and a few other things around or what? Smile

I'm game to make changes to that site. I think I'll build a links page and move those links.
