| Is it true that a person who has passed will come and visit you (if your lucky!) in a dream? Is it really them, or just you wishing it's really them? |

Some people say that spirits can visit us in our dreams. It would be impossible to differentiate a ghostly visit from a dream though. There are people, who claim that spirits have came to them in their dreams and told them things they had no prior knowledge of, which were later verified to be true, but who knows how much truth there is in these stories....

Actually I have had a lot of experience with people walking in my dreams, and what I can tell you is that they aren't always dead and they don't always come with good intentions. A lot of stuff goes on the spirit world that uses the dream state as a platform for connection.
Sometimes the dead will visit you in your dreams, and sometimes they find other ways to communicate. I finally ended up going to see my adopted mom who had passed away the year before. While I was talking with her and finding out how she was doing an old black woman came up to me and started to ask me something in Dakota. She had been raised as an Indian, but I don't know on which reservation.
I said to my mom, "Mom, can you tell her I don't speak Dakota that well and see what she wants?"
My mom just laughed, "I know what she is talking about, don't worry my girl, I will handle it."
So my mom said something to the woman and pointed with her lips off in one direction and the old lady left.
It was kind of weird having another person show up out of nowhere like that. My mom was doing good, she looked young and healthy again. One of the other girls she helped raise goes to the sweatlodges and she sees her there. The first time she saw her, she asked her why she wasn't in a wheel chair anymore and mom just laughed.
"Wha-a-a-t?" She said, "Do you want me to be in a wheel chair forever?"
As for the living visitors in my dreams, you wouldn't believe it if I told you those stories. |

My now Cousin, who in my last lifetime was my Husband, is still very much connected to me.
He visits a lot in my dreams, I go to see him too. _________________ AbranaBonney |
