Spirit Voice Frequencies - Myths And Facts

A lot of paranormal investigators insist that if an EVP is within the range of human voice frequencies, it's not paranormal. They say this is because spirits speak in a lower frequency range than humans. Personally, I think this is a bunch of phooey and I have no idea what this theory was based on. We have captured MANY authentic EVP's that are well within the human's voice range and we even have EVP's where a spirit voice came through directly before or after one of us had spoken and sometimes the EVP is even clearly at a higher frequency than our voice(s). Here are a couple great examples of this:

A Ghostly Boy

In the above audio clip, my voice, which is heard right before the EVP is about 1679 Hz on the high end. The high end of the EVP measures in at about 1995 Hz. The part I don't understand is my voice seems to peak at about -6 Db, where the spirit voice peaks at slightly below -8 Db. How can the spirit voice be at a higher Hz frequency than my voice, yet at a lower Db?

Here is another example. This EVP was captured the same night in the same area:

In the above audio clip the high end of the spirit voice is about 2407 Hz and peaks at about -15Db. The higher end of the club owner's voice is only about 2097 Hz, but for the most part it ranges between -20 Db and -10 Db this time (a lower Db than the EVP at some points). However, the frequencies in the club owner's voice spike clear up to about 5005 Hz on the "S" sylable when she says, "she".

If any of you happen to know how to measure voice/EVP frequencies and you would like to double check my ratings, please feel free to do so, so we're absolutely certain that my ratings are accurate. But, either way you will clearly see that the spirit voices are in a higher frequency range than the human voices.

Do any of you have any theories on how spirit voices can be played back within the human vocal range, yet we aren't able to hear them in real time (without special microphones that is)?

One simple theory of mine (and probably many others for all I know) is that spirit voices aren't actually spoken in the human vocal range, but rather just amplified to the human vocal range via the recording medium somehow.

Some of my thoughts on spirit photography/video would sorta go hand in hand with a different way of thinking about electronic voice phenomenon. - Maybe spirits DO actually speak within the human vocal range, but they are able to CAUSE us not to notice them in real time by:

A) Altering/Manipulating our perception, so we don't notice them in real time.

B) Being able to think one step ahead of us (able to read out minds and know where we're going look/when we're going to listen before we do so, etc).

C) Being able to shapeshift/alter their vocal range and blend in with their surroundings, so that if we were to look right at them/listen to them we wouldn't even notice them.

D) All of the above.

I have never been one to believe in other mystical beings, such as fairies, elves, gnomes, etc. BUT, if ever I have seen one, the two beings I captured in the "Misery And The Beast" photo, as described at the above link are (dare I say it?).... Gnomes....

Anyway, my point in comparing my spirit photography theories to electronic voice phenomenon is that, maybe spirits are able to manipulate ALL of our senses. Afterall, we aren't really supposed to be able to hear or see spirits or know the answers we are seeking anyway, are we?

Something else I shouldn't fail to mention about the EVP's I used in the above examples is, those particular EVP's PROVE that spirit voices DEFINITELY originate in the general vacinity of the recording medium and NOT from another dimension or through radio interference, etc (as some skeptics will argue). They were both captured on 2 different audio recorders (one cassette recorder and one digital recorder), which were in two different locations in the room. This gave us a very good indication of the voice's proximity to each recorder. The voices clearly sounded farther away from one of the recorders than the other. Also, notice how the room's reverberation/acoustics is identical for the spirit voices and our voices? You can actually hear the spirit voices echo in the large, open room. I think this is truely amazing. It really seems impossible to me that we could not have heard those voices in real time.
