Well, at 3am I was the only person there & my "BREATH" was with me. I was standing about fifteen feet from the back door. Thanks for your opinion. If you look closely, you can see a face up in the left corner, and a sprite "posing" for my camera, the others on the right look alien to me. The snow was swirling about on a light breeze.I just thought it odd to see so many "beings" in a pic of my dos. Whatever!  |

Breath.... Swirling snow.... It really doesn't matter. Either way, it's just not worth putting any consideration into. I can pretty much assure you that it is your breath, but it really doesn't matter. Also, i'm just wondering if you trained your dog to hold his breath when you are taking pictures....  (just kidding)
This is something we have experimented with EXTENSIVELY. I don't care if ya hold your breath for 30 seconds before taking pictures, breath will still linger around and show up in your photos. How long a person's breath lingers around in the air after they exhale is dependent upon weather and environmental conditions (humidity and wind primarily). We have even tried keeping our faces covered clear up to our eyes, inside of our thick winter jackets AND holding our breath for 5 seconds at the same time before each photo and we STILL got tons of breath in our photos. There is no way to avoid it in the winter or in any temperatures that are 68 degrees or less for that matter.
As for the "beings".... Personally, I can't even force myself to form any ghostly images in this photo, but it is a perfect photo for matrixing for sure - The swirling breath with the flash bouncing off of it and the resulting shadows behind it, etc. Sorry to burst your bubble....
The fact of the matter is, we both know there is a simple explanation for the breath/swirling snow in this photo and that it wasn't a paranormal occurrence. So, why insist on trying to make something paranormal out of it?

When I first started to look at ghost pictures, I thought everything was a ghost! I thought all orbs were ghosts! It was hard to accept that most pictures are not ghosts, But that it is simple, like breath or dust, ect. I had a very hard time with pictures like this one also! It is easy to believe there is a ghost in the picture, but much harder to question it! What else could it be!

I hear ya, Tee.... It really sucks when we learn and finally accept that 99.9% (or more) of photographic and video anomalies that were once thought to be paranormal, are not paranormal at all. The sad fact is, there is a logical explanation for pretty much every anomaly. Out of the THOUSANDS of photos we've taken during our investigations, I can only think of maybe 3 or 4 photos that can't be explained. As incredibly disheartening as it is, considering the amount of time, work and money we've invested in our investigations, we have to be completely honest.
