I just thought I would share this with you guys too while i'm at it. I finally got around to puting a small report together for this somewhat random and unorganized investigation Matt and I had taken a couple of people to, who had attended one of my workshops last October in New Jersey.

Definitely a spooky place and we got some creepy EVP's. Even though the "bloody room" thing was most likely a prank, imagine being in the middle of nowhere, with people you don't know, 500 miles from home and stumbling into something like this in a pitch dark building....

Are you sure it was a prank? What did the stuff smell like? I don't see any drag marks so you are probably right. Then again, anything can happen!

From the way it looked in the photos, the blood is probably real. The easiest way to have made certain of this was to take a sample and put it under a microscope. It is likely the local school might let you use one of theirs for that purpose, or even the police would have been interested.

I doubt anyone was killing people there, but sometimes weird people like to kill or torture animals. Usually they grow up to do worse things or get to a point where cruelty to animals isn't enough, so definitely the police would have been interested if the sample turned out to be blood, animal or otherwise.

It is probable that they used a garbage bag to tote off the kill if there weren't any drips of blood leading away. It is also likely there is a cemetary of animals in the area where they hide their kills so that people don't know what kind of freak(s) they are.
