Hi everyone, last thursday was my teams first full fledged Investigation together. My team consists of four local high school students who have a basically strong interest in the paranormal. Well I would always hear stories about my school being haunted by spirits. I spent the whole month of october scouring the school and its staff for any leads and information. Well I got what I was looking for through some of the deans.
The stories revolve mostly around a popular student who died in a car accident on his way to a pep rally at the school a few years ago. But the other things I didn't know came out when i talked to the dean of security here. He told me that the place had been haunted since the early sixties, right before renovations started on the old gym. He also told me that there was a janitor who had a heart attack here during a night shift a day before he was scheduled to retire. He told me that there was an awfully cold and lonley feeling when in school late at night.
I decided that this was a good prject for my team. So i interviewed some of the JROTC students because most of the older kids in the program has seen a shadowy looking apparition float down the stairwell and disappear through the wall.
Two weeks ago i got the go ahead to come in last thursday. When i came in at 3:30 for the daytime walk around and hotspot location portion of my investigation i felt really uneasy in the auditorium. Why the aud. you ask? Because in the thirties there was an old baby grand piano that had been used since the 20's and i was told that in the fifties the piano was cut up with a saw and thrown in the trash. Hence most likely causing a lot of bad energy surrounding the auditorium and the new piano that took it's place.
After the daytime walk around we decided that we'd investigate the two almost deserted stairwells on either side of the auditorium and the auditorium itself. We also put the old Locker room on our list. (now used as a JROTC class room.)
When we came back for the night time investigation. We wanted to start as soon as possible. So we got there around 7:30, it was already dark and we had permission to shut the lights in the auditorium and the ROTC class. The stairwells would need to be left lit for saftey reasons.
We started on the stairwells filming myself explaining how spirits latch themselves to places. I also explained that sometimes spirits don't like when the places they are familiar with change. And when the things they were used to in life change it angers them. I also explained that some types of spirit energy feeds off of fear and overall energy. We then shut the lights in the ROTC room did some introductions for the team and documentation purposes and then headed to the hotspot (auditorium.) Once there we set up one tripod and camera and we also checked the stage and the piano with an EMF. We got a base reading of .2. The piano got a slightly higher reading ranging from .4 - .6 not really anything out of the ordinary. We realised that all the stage equipment might be causing the spikes on the EMF so we shut it down and resorted to basic digital camera snap shots.
There wasn't any real photographic proof off the bat. But we were always hearing footsteps on stage and up in the east stairwell. We had asked the dean to please contact us on the walkie talkie if he would be in the area. And he promised us he wasn't. The only really photographic proof was that during the end of our investigation as we were wrapping up I took one final snapshot of the auditorium looking out over the seats from the stage. The photo came out clear on the camera. but when i got home i got a call from Matt, my techy. And he said there were three or four orbs in that picture and a light vortex in a picture we took of one of the teachers restrooms near the west stairs. Thus ending my first investigation it went well. We had a few jumps along the way and almost had contact.
The only two photos we got anything on are being further examined tomorrow along with the video footage. So stay safe and hold on for updates on this case. _________________ Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. |
