What do you guys think, is this going to be yet another mystical, bullshit filled hour of paranormal mis-information per week or are they going to be legit?:

Watched the video, and found out it was Penn state.,,,, They are the group I tried to join 5yrs ago.
Found out it was just for Penn State University. No outsiders. (I think they are legit) . I guess we will find out?

Yup, it's official! Paranormal State is going to be yet another COMPLETELY mystical, bullshit filled hour of paranormal mis-information per episode, just as I had expected! What a freakin' joke!

I think it's about time all of these charletons are called on their bullshit and I swear i'm seriously considering making it the SHGHRS' sole purpose to do just that! Twisted Evil

I watched it last night. Both episodes and I found myself terribly unimpressed. I did find my interest fired back up after years of not following the paranormal.

I really wish they spent a LOT more time on their findings (if they truly found anything) There was no video, audio or pictures taken and the entire show was based on conversation and theory. I found theym going into the background of the investigators was a little much as well. I really was not interested in the one's "being visited by a demon" whom he refused to give any information about. Clearly it is just a bad attempt to draw veiwers in for next week.

The young boy was very interesting though! When they had him in the basement of the house the investigators asked him "Do you see Timmy down here right now or other times?" and without batting an eye or missing a beat, the boy responded "He is here right now" and simply walked off. In my experience, small children have a difficult time acting so matter of fact when telling a story or making things up as they go along. His picking the "Timmy" character out of the photo was also interesting.

All in all, I thought it was not done well at all. Hell, TAPS is better then this show!

As always with these BULLSHIT, made for television paranormal shows, this group offered absolutely no evidence to backup all of their totally outrageous, mythical claims whatsoever! You could clearly tell that the female "investigators" didn't even believe a word of what their leader was saying and they looked like they were actually about to laugh at him. Both episodes were filled back to back with the same old, usual, tired and unproven, Ed Warren-esque', pseudopsychic babble and a bunch of ratings hype! And then of course, in walks Loraine Warren herself and there went every bit of credibility this joke of a paranormal investigation group MAY have ever had.

Okay, so, let's review some of the ridiculous nonsense that these people are expecting us to buy:

1) It seemed that during EVERY one of their bullshit filled "dead time"/seance' sessions, there was a paranormal occurence, which would happen RIGHT ON CUE:

- "If there is anybody here, show us a sign".... Sure enough, they claim to hear heavy, "animal-like" breathing and how many other times did they claim to hear footsteps right on cue? Rolling Eyes

- "If there is a little girl here, we want you to go somewhere safe, away from the "dark entities" and "demons".... And once again, RIGHT ON CUE their camera supposedly captures a door closing on its own accord. Of course, the "medium" proclaims, "I guess she took our advice". Rolling Eyes

2) The whole bullshit, leader of the group having a "demonic" name repeatedly come to him in his sleep thing:

- He wouldn't say the name out loud (instead he writes it down on a piece of paper), because "to do so means you would have to be ready for a full-on confrontation with the demon".... LMFAO! Not even worth commenting on....

- So, during yet another one of their bullshit filled, "dead time"/seance' sessions, of course a name suddenly comes to the "medium". Of course the medium just automatically writes the name down on a piece of paper and slides it over to the leader of the group and lo and behold, it is the same exact name that the other clown is afraid to speak out loud.... "What's the matter, does this name mean something to you?", states the "medium".... Rolling Eyes

3) During the whole second episode, the leader of the group repeatedly kept leading the homeowner to add more to her story:

- Leader: "When did the activity first begin?"
Homeowner: "Shortly after we moved in."
Leader: "Yeah, but about how long after you moved in?"
Homeowner: "I don't know.... Right after we moved in."
Leader: "So, during the first week?"
Homeowner: "Yeah, it was during the first week!" Rolling Eyes

Then during one of their bullshit filled, "dead time"/seance' sessions:

- Homeowner: "Something is right in front of me!"
Leader: "Is anything else happening?"
Homeowner: "Yes, he's touching me." Rolling Eyes

Then it was just dropped, like nothing ever happened (which it didn't)....

4) During the whole first episode, the leader of the group repeatedly kept leading the "sensitive" child:

When the leader of the group showed the picture to the kid:

Leader: "Your friend, Timmy IS in this picture!"
Kid: "He's right there!" (as he supposedly points to the guy that had killed himself)

Err.... Alright, let's just pretend that this wasn't already pre-arranged with the kid for a moment. Why wouldn't the camera have zoomed in on the photo as the kid pointed to "Timmy"? Why didn't they go out of their way to PROVE that the guy the kid pointed to was the same guy in all of the other comparison photos they had of Timmy? Rolling Eyes

Then again down in the basement:

Leader: "Is Timmy there by the furnace right now?"
Kid: "Yes, he's there right now!"

Riiiiight! That was just soooo believable.... Rolling Eyes

In regards to this "real deal"/"powerful clairvoyant" child, the only thing this group proved is that the kid clearly has mental problems. It was completely OBVIOUS! Aside from the fact that the kid has speech problems, he is obviously hyperactive and probably has ADD and a waaaaay overly active imagination. His parents even said that he is on medication and he isn't sleeping right. HELLO PEOPLE!?

I could go on and on about all of the other ridiculous mumbo jumbo these people spoon fed the whole world during these first two episodes, but my fingers are already tired. In a nutshell, both of these episodes were just one big bullshit fest after another (has anyone been keeping count of how many times i've said BULLSHIT in this post?) and an all out assult on our intelligence! I swear it's like the producers of "Ghost Hunters", "Most Haunted" and "A Haunting" all joined forces to see just how much staged bullshit they can get away with on national television! In the same fashion as "Most Haunted", these people are simply putting on some sort of sick, twisted play and feeding off of each others bullshit as they go. It's just ridiculous beyond description and I can't even believe that Penn State University is allowing their name to be attached to these people. Especially since they are basing their organization entirely upon mysticism and religious beliefs and not presenting so much as one single shred of scientific evidence or even reasonable explanations to backup what they say.

Be sure to tune in next week when "THE DEMON RETURNS"! Shocked

They already showed clips of these clowns freaking out because their EMF meter is going nuts inside of a small little room. Should be a real treat....

Ok, So I read your post on the forums for Paranormal State, and I must say, you are extremely laughable.

You call yourself an investigator, yet you have done little research to back up your claims! After only 2 episodes that are only 22 minutes in length, you have made the assumption that an investigation was not thoroughly conducted. The show has clearly stated its about the families and their stories, not just what you want to see as "proof". This field is far from "proof".

Your group is far from high and mighty in the paranormal field. While its contradictory (I will admit it too) coming on to the forums to voice your disgust and being disrespectful shows a lack of class. I dont need to clarify that I am here doing the same as well. I am assuming you know what contradict is right?

I know for a fact that PRS is a much better organization than your shitty ass team with your matrixing and orb photos. GO SCIENCE! Any professional photographer would tell you that you captured dust or some other form of airborne particle.

Your "evidence" holds no weight in the paranormal NOR SCIENCE community, which is what keeps you as merely amateur ghost hunters, and keeps groups like PRS, actually doing real research.

The TV show is not about evidence, its about helping the families...proper research...and not real hard research at that, would have told you this...its only posted EVERYWHERE! Also, its TV, it has to be entertaining otherwise no one would watch it. Just because you dont see in depth investigations, does not mean they dont have them.

Take a look at their main site, and see how many doctors and professionals they have working with them. I am sure that is a stretch for a team that "hunts ghosts" like yourself, to actually seek out professionals to help back up your evidence...than again, thats why you post photos of orbs and matrixed images.

Oh, and way to try and ride the coattails of the group. Posting your group name in their forum for others to see is a poor attempt at advertising your own group. While I admit it brought me here, they should delete the post just because having a group like yours on their board tarnishes their image and gives it a "white trash" feel.

Pardon me, Einstein, but clearly you have not even taken so much as a slight glance at our in depth investigation reports, which by the way, is something this PSU group does not seem to have to their credit for so much as one single investigation. That would be because their "research" (as you call it) is equivalent to that of a bunch of goofy teenagers, sitting around a table having a seance' and telling ghost stories, spooking each other out. Nothing more! Perhaps you should have spent some time, looking at the work we have done before you opened your mouth.

As for your comments about "orbs", I couldn't agree more. AGAIN, you would have known that, had you taken a moment to look through our reports before you opened your big mouth. For instance:

In regards to the "matrixed" photos you are speaking of, you must have been just looking for instant gratification and looked at the photos submitted by our visitors and I couldn't agree more. Most of them are more than likely false positives. I can only think of 3 or 4 photos all together out of TENS OF THOUSANDS that we have captured during our investigations that we have not been personally debunked. ONCE AGAIN, had you taken a moment to look through the SHGHRS' own investigation reports before you opened your big mouth, you would have known that too! Agreed, there are still some shitty "orb" and "light anamoly" photos found throughout some of our reports, only because I have an enormous amount of updating to do on our site. They will all be gone eventually.

(YES THAT MEANS YOU JRYRY) Look we just want people to know the truth isn't this all it's about! Finding proof and evidence to back things you claim...to bring the truth to the world that this either exists or not…..So again you people need to jump off your little red wagon and start listening to what the people really want……THE GOD DAM TRUTH!!!! Aedryan has done nothing but express his disgust at what the people are claiming to be true with no evidence to back it, to be honest it’s people like him that keep us believing…for the sheer fact he actually doesn’t believe everything he hears and always has proof to back what he says so who is laughing at who right now…humm just have a think about that!! So act respectfully in our forums don’t tell us we are CRAP mate and have no credibility…just coz we want the truth and you want to be spoon fed like a baby!!!
