Aedyran,

I went to the old forum site and noticed the yellow "Attention" banner has a bad address for this forum on it. I know it's easy to make the corrections ourselves and navigate here for most of us but I still noticed people posting there that may not know how to correct it themselves. I don't know just a thought.

Thanks Frank, but I don't see where the URL is wrong on the banner. What's wrong with it?

Edit: Argh.... I put the "//" before the ":".... LOL Duh!

Also, you used a semi-colon and not a colon. I know to most of us who are internet literate, it's not a problem but some of the older generation that may seek our advice may not know and won't be able to navigate to the new site.

It actually is a colon. That particular font makes colons look like semi-colons. Unfortunately, the SHGHRS site and my magic site (which happens to be my main source of survival) have much bigger problems than that right now and i'm sick about it! Both sites have taken a HUGE blow that is going to take A LOT of time, work and waiting to correct. Both sites were banned from Google entirely and the SHGHRS site was also banned entirely from Yahoo and my business has plummeted down to nothingness! I'm in great hopes that this is only going to be temporary, but only time will tell....

I'll spare everyone the details, but I will say that unfortunately the SHGHRS site (including the forum) is going to have to make one final move to its own domain in the not too distant future. I'm pretty sure it's the SHGHRS site that got my magic site banned, because it is a subdomain of Methyus.com and I can't risk ever having this happen again or i'll be in the poor house.

I'll keep you guys posted!

I may just be ignorant to how domains and subdomains work but why in the hell would google or yahoo ban you? Are you taking-up too much bandwidth? Is this the work of oppositional sites or old disgruntled ISP's? Violation of listing agreements?

It has to do with stepping outside of their boundaries, in order to get good search engine rankings.
