You know, I wish I would have saved the images I got one time from the Willard Library webcam of an orb. But alas, here is an annectdote about orbs that don't fit into the dust/pollen/moisture category.
When their webcam was on all the time, which it hasn't been lately, I would sometimes watch the research and children's room and one night an orb appeared in the back room of the main children's reading room on the floor. Then it slowly moved into the main room a few feet along the floor and sat there a while. Eventually it moved into the back room again and then sat for a while before finally disappearing. I examined the images pretty hard, trying to decide if it were an orb or just a flashlight. But the orb was too small and concentrated for that and had no flashlight halo.
It was also kind of blue in color. I will have to go through my floppies and see if I saved any of the orb images or tossed them.
Willard Library cam was really cool. Once in a while I would see some really weird stuff there. In the children's room I would look at the clock and if it showed heavy electromagnetic flux coming out of it then there was bound to be some ghosts showing up. If there was nothing around the clock then it was usually a waste of time. Yeah, I know, that is a pun, however unavoidable. |

Ahhh.... The Willard Library! I will always have a special place in my heart for that place. If you haven't already done so, be sure to Take A Look At This Artice I Did About The Willard Library!
There is a problem with what you are saying though, Parlance. The Willard Library cams are not real time video. They are just shots. What you are seeing when you view their webcams are just video frames, which refresh every 30 seconds or so (depending on what time of day it is). So, i'm curious as to how you were able to see this orb moving around the way you described. Did it just appear in each of the locations you described from frame to frame or what?
It could have been an orb I suppose, but it would be inconclusive either way, without seeing it in real time. Even then, we have proven that dust can look and act pretty much identical to orbs, even on video....

Actually, your collection of photos isn't good at all, and there is none of the wow stuff I saw going on there. The camera was refreshing every 10 seconds when I was a regular at that site and yeah, the images were stop motion, but in a series the movement could be viewed of the object. When I take burst shots of the beach, the waves look like they are moving when I review them in a slideshow. And that is all a movie is, a series of shots taken close together and then run by so that the images look like they are moving. But you know that.
Whenever I saw something I thought was paranormal I would continue watching to see if it remained or disappeared and check it against daylight images for tricks of the light. In the corner to the left of the doorway a little girl appears there once in while. I have tried to reproduce the face after it has faded and had no luck with the images. And daylight photos showed nothing that would cause an illusion.
One time a man's face appeared over the bookshelf next to the door on the right, and I thought, maybe it's just a poster. But it faded away and I couldn't get subsequent images to reproduce the image of the man's face. There was nothing there in the daylight images to indicate a source of an optical illusion. And I found I still have that image along with a base image that shows no phenomena.
One of the things I find most interesting is when a green glob of plasma shows up among the book shelves and then it disappears after a while.
Once in a while there is a spectral image of a face over the book shelves that seems to be outlined in light and then it goes away too.
In the research room I had a specter in a cloak appear. It's easy to see that there are book shelf shadows that can cause an optical illusion, but this one faded into a strong image over a series of photographs and then dissappeared.
The other thing that shows up once in a while is a dark gray plasma along the left wall at the end of the shelves. I have two images I saved about that one, because at first I thought it was just a trick of light, and then I realized that things were covered when it was there and revealed again when it went away. I have two photos for that one, one with the plasma, and one of the table with stuff showing that was invisible when the plasma was there.
I can sit down and pick apart most of the "ghosts" people see in the camera images that are in the collection on the site, but once in a while somebody catches something real.
One image I caught that I debunked showed a man standing in front of the table near the webcam in the research room. I finally realized that when they have a printer or fax machine, not sure what it is, on that table, the shadows and background make it appear as though there is the shadow form of a man there. I have seen the same image in the collection that others have taken of the same phenomena, and it is just an illusion. It only happens when that machine is on the table because it helps to complete the illusion of a man.
I didn't keep many of the images I caught of paranormal stuff. And I should have kept the test images taken before and after stuff appeared to demonstrate the difference. That is something I am now finding is important for photographic proof, base images that have no phenomena that can be compared to images of the same area from the same angle that have phenomena. |

Actually, uhhh.... There are 3 clear full body apparitions amongst those photos I captured there.... Seems like "wow stuff" to me.... lol The best part is, pictures are worth a thousand words.
Personally, I wouldn't swear to anything though, because it could all be a hoax for all we know. I can only attest to the apparitions being in the photos, not how they got there.
