OK, went on meds, for concentration. I don't mind the sick feeling, teh drowsiness or the insomnia those are going away. What I do mind is my mom asking me about side effects such as:
Loss of sexual interest
erectile difficulties
And than, comment on how long i spend in the shower.
I beleive her exact words were "well, I wouldn't think so, you spend so damn long in the shower and take about 3 a day!". |

Ah, to be a young man again. My kids are still pretty young so I haven't got to mess with them yet on this subject and I have 2 boys. Can you imagine the fight over their bathroom?
I don't think the subject of sex ever becomes comfortable between parents and children. The kid always think the parents don't have any idea what they are going through, all the while forgetting they were that age too and remember everything.

Thaks Bryce.. she is doing a lot better today...
Frank your right about kids not realizing that parents have been through it...We are the simple minded old folks to them "Older than dirt"  You just show any kind of affection to your partner in front of them when they hit the teenage stage and watch their reaction.... They get squeamish on you...Like you have no idea what sex. kissing or any kind of affection is when your older than dirt...My kids get grossed out...and say please don't do that in front of us guys.....But in the same token...I can't imagine my mom and dad even having sex it turns the old stomach. But then again my siblings and I all say they had to do it at least 6 times after all we are all here  Talking to them when you feel their of age enough is also a tough thing on the parent....Most of them say they learned everything already from riding the bus and the other kids in school...I just say "yeah and they are all pro's" I also tell them that the other kids are in the same boat and are all wrong...they'll just find it out later.... |
