Heya, GM!
Would it be possible for you to send me the original, unenhanced photo? Shame it's so grainy....

I'm glad I don't have a basement.
90% of home ghost stories start like this, "So I was in the basement..." |

I sure can send you the original. It is a 35mm photo. The original is grainy too though. Let me know where to send it to. I would like your opinion on it. My hubby was down in the basement taking pics of some water damage for our attorney. This was right after we moved in and still had not come to the conclusion our house was haunted. He was alone and it was around 4 in the afternoon when the pic was taken. _________________ Founder

Hey Mom. Did you ever think that if this is truly an anamoly that it is your water poltergiest. IF they both can't be debunked that is i think you have a foolproof visitor. I mean you did say this picture was taken of water damage in your basement. _________________ Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. |

The thing that bugs me most about this photo is, the orange-ish color you're looking at is everywhere. Not just where you're trying to "matrix" the shape of a human. Could have been water stains? Also, there is a window with light shining through, which could have possibly caused a bit of light refraction. The round part that you're calling the "head" could have even just been an "orb" (dust/moisture) and due to the poor lighting conditions, ya just can't see it all....
So, all of that considered along with the extremely poor camera/photo quality and the poor lighting conditions, I can't personally call it anything more than inconclusive. I've tried looking at the photo with several different types of enhancements and I just can't bring anything more out than what ya already see in this photo, because it is so grainy and pixelated that everything just turns to mush....
As always, thanks for sharing and contributing to the forum, GM. I'm just being brutally honest, just as i've been while debunking 99.9% of our own photos.

I never take any opinions in a negative way. I think all paranormal things if tried hard enough can be debunked in one way or the other. I do not have a copy of the pic on my puter that has not been played with so to speak. It was a 35mm as stated before. We had a group take the pic and scan it in and low and behold it ended up all over the net. I would love for you to see the original 35mm pic. It is grainy as well though. I believe it was on one of those cheap disposable cameras. We get that orange glow in alot of our pictures here for some reason or other. With alot of different cameras. You just need to get your butt to Cleveland one day and I will share them all with ya. LOL!!!! _________________ Founder

I looked at the pic and can plainly see the image of the figure in the pic and my opinion, and once again this is just my opinion i believe it is of a child a girl to be exact. b/c if u look closely around the shoulder area's you can see where it bunches up liked it's ruffled. like the girl is wearing a dress or blouse where it would fluff up around the shoulder's but that's just my opinion. thnx for the photo. _________________ Ghostbuster07 |
