well..we are in the southwest also. just north of the Cincinnati area. Its kind of strange. Ohio seems to be a huge hotspot. Esp this area.
Maybe we could compare notes sometimes y'all in the chat. Is it open? if so when? |

Even though the SHGHRS is based in Pennsylvania, we have done a hell of a lot of investigations in Ohio. More than anywhere else actually.... _________________

Hi Toga! Well I think if they use the chat room everyone decides on a time, and meets there. I think that would be great! By the way I heard that there is a place in Ohio where native Americans buried people above ground. They layered the people to make a wall or mound of some sort. I know someone who was there recently. I will ask were it is if you are interested. I have more time on the weekend for the chat room, or after 8:00 weekdays myself. |

| Hi TOGA! I found the web site for one, The Serpent mound. This site is very old, I think it said (1000-1550). They buried people in a big winding wall. www.Ohiohistory.org/places/serpent. I am still searching for the others. |

Hi TOGA! I found more sites!www.forgottenoh.com/cemeteries/mound.html, and www.culture.org/sites/gravecreek.html, the web site for the serpent mound, if you click on Places, then click sites by name, or sites by topic, either will get you info on, the Adena, and Hopewell Indians. They are prehistoric indians! There is the Seip mound, the Miamisburg mound. The Hopewell indians are (100BC-AD500)and the Adena are(800BC-AD100). I think !? I loved seeing the grave creek cemetery, it was full of Revolutionary war people, and in the center is the mound. If you find out any cool info, or get to investigate, share your storys, I would love to hear more about your investigations. |

Hi Jemm! It is nice to talk to you! I bet it is beautiful in Australia. Do you live by the ocean, or any cool stuff by you? I live by Lake Erie, it's very Erie to swim there! Just kidding, its very cold water though. |
