Hello, I'm new to the forums. My name is Tiffany and I'm from northeastern Pennsylvania.
Like many(if not most) of us on this site, I "hunt ghosts". I even did my highschool graduation project on it(which I passed, wh00t! Now I only have to worry about my senior year before going to college) and I am now officially the weirdest person in school for that. wh00t!
The area I live in may not be Gettysburg but we have our fair share of ghosts. I've got some interesting pictures in the local cemeteries but my scanner died(maybe it'll haunt us  (just kidding)). |

Welcome to the forum, Tiffany! We recently moved from our old forum and we lost some people, so things are a little slow around here at the moment, but it will be picking up before too long.
Anyway, I hope you will visit and post often, because we could sure use some new regulars here!

Hello my name is Renee and I'm from a small town in Texas near Fort Worth. I'm new to this but maybe I can find some answers to my situation and maybe contribute something as well.
I got onto this website to see if it is possible to get rid of what I think is in my house. The home page answered alot of my questions.
I know I have a ghost or a spirit in my house but can you have an entity at the same time? I do not know if they can be roommates, someone answer that one for me. I have children, (teenagers!) and last year they had the stupid idea of bringing a ouji board into my house and not only using it once but twice! I've told them about how dangerous it is to have one of these but of course they do not listen. It has been since long gone but I think now without doing some damage. For the last few months strange occurences have been happening. I have had too much dark energy in my house and I'm concerned about my sons. I've recently married last year and this year is not going too well, we are constantly fighting amongst each other, things have been happening almost like I've (or we) have created some really bad Karma. Do I sound like a wingnut or am I on to something? My one son says he feels dark, rage, depression when he is in the house, he has always been like me, somewhat sensitive to some things. I'm not going to go into detail right now on what has happened since we moved there six years ago. But light switches have been turned off, shoes have moved from the dresser to the floor in front of me, doors to entertainment center opening. That is just the funny stuff, the other stuff not so funny. |

Hello Renee,
Welcome to the forums! You should have started your own topic in the "Help I Think I Have Ghosts" or "General Ghost Questions" threads. You would probably get more replies. This is just a general introduction thread (someone elses)....

Ghosts.... Spirits.... Energies.... Entities.... They are all just different names for the same thing in my opinion....

Ouija Boards are not dangerous. All of the "supposed" dangers are old superstitions, myths and wive's tales that have been fueled by Hollywood and mystics.

Hey , sorry to further the use of someone elses thread, but i wanted to put in my two cents...
About oujia boards... the only threat i can think of, is that when someone who doesnt know how to keep their "walls" up uses them, they actually unwittingly open themselves to things that my not be too freindly...
It is rare... but that is what happened in the story i referred to in the Demonology Thread.
But other than that, yeah... i agree... they are pretty harmless... just if you ever go somewhere that is full of activity, pls do yourself a favor, and dont let your gaurd down, and dont ever purposfully ask something to enter your body....
