I think someone is phishing

I clicked on the forms link and got sent to a gray page with an atypical format that wanted me to log in before viewing the posts. I think someone is trying to phish passwords from this site. A couple of tries after refusing to use the weird sign in page I finally made it into the forums without giving up my password.

Whoa! Did you happen to get the URL that came up? Has anyone else had this happen to them? If not, maybe you have spyware, parlance.

Thanks for letting me know. Though, I wouldn't even know where to begin to catch them if that's what is happening....

Honestly, I didn't think to check the view source and see what the isp was. If it happens again I will do that and let you know. You might want to send out a warning to other members to not use that plain grey page that asks for a log in before using the forums. And tell them to right hand click on the page and hit view source and save the info on the url for you. I can go to samspade.org and look it up if I get phished again.

Is anyone else experiencing this here? If so, PLEASE be sure and let me know! My popup blocker has been blocking something here today suddenly, but I haven't seen what it is yet.

False alarm on my end I think. Frank and I have been PM-ing each other back and forth. I think my popup blocker is just blocking the popup alert when Frank's messages come through is all....
