I have more ghosts than i thought

First of all I cant type and my wife is lookin over my shoulder which makes me mistype even more, So I apoligize. lol

HI all. We had a lady named Robin come to our house yesterday. Robin is a ghost whisperer. Ok... for all of you who don't know what one is she can see,speak to and hear dead people. So ere is the excitement we had yesterday.

Our property was once a "settlement" with many residents. Most of them from what they told Robin was wiped out in some sort of plaugue that caused them to have high fevers. I believe its Cholera but will have to research more of that today. A little girl was in the front bedroom by the name of Margaret Roach, she was an orphane and also died of a fever. She is the one that played in the rocker, touched the stuffed animals, angels etc.... it was very heartbreaking but she is now with her parents. There was a man in the bedroom across by mine by the name of Jack Whittling. 34-35 yrs old, told Robin it was 1700, (none of us believe this to be a proper date) he followed the kids home , said he died by falling down the stairs and breaking his neck. He wanted Robin to turn the tv on. LOl he is now gone as well. Ok for the ones still here...... We have a black man and wife who was in the attic hiding from Robin and she said they where terrified of her. She could not make them cross due to the fact that they speak no English. We belive they were slaves. Our house was part of the "american underground" free the slaves movement. So we could not get any info from them. There is a man in the garage (It was a blacksmith shop erected about 1819) by the name of Sir Thomas. He was a blacksmith and kept asking Robin if she needed her wheels fixed. He watches over the property said it would be right fine by him if we came back and tried to communicate with him. He told her all about what the property looks like in 1824. There are 3 others that take shifts working in the shop as well, but was not here at the time Robin was in the shop. My buddy who likes to scare my wife is a man by the name of Nathanial. He is very proper and kept correcting Robin for not addressing him properly. Says women should not speak to men. He does not like our bloodhound and pesters him because animals belong outside. Claims the property and house are his. He drags dry goods and meat into the basement . He feels that a women minds the kids and the house and a man minds the women. Therefore he told my wifeshe needed to Hold her tongue ! ( Yeah ok like that is going to happen) LOL . He also apoligized for running into her on the stairwell and said he didn't mean to. She had woken one morning with bruises on her arm the looked like some one grabbed her. They were in the shape of a hand. I have pictures if anyone wouold like to see them.He also did not like that Robin and I wore pants. We asked if he was the one that went down the basement stairs when you guys where here and he said "oh them withches and there stuff",( we had a group of ghost hunters here 2 weekends ago) he also called Robin a witch. We are just too modern for his liking. We also got the name of a little boy named hermie, a man by the name of samuel, and a man by the name of Sir Emerson, but Robin did not see them on the property at the time. She was awesome and came up with some really amazing names and Im a true believer in what she does. We are thankful to know what dwells within our home and think it will make for even more intresting investigations now that we have some names and dates to go on. Cannot wait for her/them to come back and see if we can get some of these names on EVP. Especially Thomas in the barn who is more than happy to have us talk with him. Thanks again Robin and Paul. Robin truely has a gift and is a remarkable person.

ps. We did not give any info to Robin in advance. She did not even want the home address unit she got off the highway exit. She nailed down some very interesting personal info that we already know and there was no way for her to know this.

*sighs* Good "story", but are you actually believeing the words of a sensitive/psychic and stating all of this, as if it were factual, based on her word alone? Where is all the evidence to back up her claims? I mean, it sounds like you guys are running a halfway house for the living impaired over there, according to this woman. Surely it would be nothing but a thing to at least capture some EVP's or something, right?

I just hope you guys didn't give this woman any money....

I agree Meth...I hope you didn't pay them because it sounds bogus to me....Hell I could come to your house and say the same thing...Sounds like they are trying to take you on a slow ride to the bank.....meaning that they are going to make it a long term thing and keep coming back to help you keep all your ghosties in order....I don't trust sensitives/psychics because I've dealt with them before and what they told me was a bunch of bullshit....hehehehe ''BEWARE" The psychich that just seems to know all, hear all, and see all, they are probably one of those kinds the when their creator was giving them brains they opted for a slow one.... Razz

HI guys:
I'd like to take a second to resond back to your posts. Have you been to my websight I had posted on the bottom of my post. I have some of the clearist evp's I've ever heard and a full figure picture of one of the aparitions in my basement. Now if that is not enough, please explain to me some basic facts. She did not want my address or phone number until she exited from the highway so she could not research the house. She was not given ANY info about the house what so ever. She told me all about the blacksmith shop on our property for Sir Thomas Whom my wife,daughter, and several neighbors have physically seen. She has told us the name of Margrette Roach the little girl who would stay in my daughters room who's death records match what she has told us.She died at Gore Orpanage in 1910. Margrette told her that, we backed it up with proof. We assumed her name was Margrette due to the fact while having a Hallowwen party the name "Margrette" appeared written on a fogged up window in my daughters room while several children were in there.Margrette Told Robin (the ghost Whisperer)she loved to play with the cats and the dog.(especially the fat cat).Robin had not even seen Corkie(the fat cat)at this point and had no idea that she existed.Margrette told Robin she stopped the "black man" from chocking Emily(my daughter) my waking her up. This puzzled Robin, she had no clue as to what this meant. Several night earlier my daughters electric blanket cord mysteriosly got wrappped around her neck while sleeping. She felt a spine chilling shiver which awake her to find the cord wrapped. Robin knoew nothing of this.We are currently trying to figure out how to exhume this man from out house, but yet have had no luck. The man name jack in my sons room told her he was always cold and would turn up the termostat,but it wouldn't help. There are no heating ducts in the bedrooms. Robin no nothing of out constant battle with the thermostat. Robin is not a physic nor claims to be one. She can not predict the future,see the past. She has Said too many thing about our house property and lives without knowing a thing.She DOES NOT charge for any visits. And anyhow what advantige would she have to drive over 2 hours to blow smoke up my rear. She has a gift weather you choose to believe it or not. She doesn't call it a gift but a curse. She only wishes to help people out who arer in our situation. My house is haunted BY lots of spirits. There is no denying that. Ask ANY of the MANY MANY groups out there that have been to our house. If you disbelieve. Please let me know and we can make arrangements for you to come visit. Please come piss of Sir Nataniel... PLEASE he has hit me in the head with a rock when I tormented him. Anothere fact Robin revealed she was not told of. I just didn't know who did it. In closing if you have any more questions please let me know. I'm not trying to bebunk you...I visited your site..."The marks on the arms" Yep I'll believe that ...I also had a run in not long ago..it is on the previous site and have no idea how to move them to this one...mine were more pronounced because they were taken right after it happen...As for the rest.....I'm not saying you don't have anything going on in your house but ...I haven't listened to all the evp's yet....so I'll let ya know my take when I've done that....

Hi all,
I am writing under my husbands name as I registered under my own but it is telling me invalid username or password. Anyway. I too was a skeptic of this women. We have had a shaman/medium here before to bless the house and all that did was stir up a can of worms. The house was crazy for days after. This women gave us names and dates of people here and what really made me a believer was the fact that one of the people was a little girl that used to live in an orphanage close to our property. She told me she died in 1910 from a high fever. I looked up the census of the orphange in 1910 and sure enough there was her name. There is no way she could of gotten this information prior to her visit, because she did not even know what town we lived in until she was within 5 minutes of our home. We already knew we had spirits here. We have EVP's from our home and the barn. It really is not so hard to believe when you know the history of the place. It was used in the underground railroad, is listed on the National Registry for historical places, was built in the 1800s. So Im sure with all the history and brutallity of the slave movement that we do have many spirits here.

Who knows, maybe this woman really is one of the few who truely does have a gift. Your stories definitely sound believable enough, if everything is indeed, exactly as you have described it, in regards to the information the psychic was given or had access to prior to her visit. You have to realize too though, that this is the information age. You would be amazed what people can learn about you just from having your name and/or telephone number. It would be nothing but a thing for someone to learn your address without your knowing. In fact, just knowing your website address alone, I could tell you your name, home address and telephone number. You just have to be extremely careful what you believe of "psychics"/"sensitives". There are plenty of them out there making a living, using trickery and deceit. Kinda like myself! *winks* Wink

Anyway, I didn't realize who you guys were until just now when I visited your website. I'm assuming you don't live too far from me (Erie). If you would be interested, maybe we could arrange for our group to come and do an investigation sometime?

No we are not too far from Erie. We would love for you guys to come and investigate. Will be intresting to see if we can get some EVP's with the peoples names we were given by this women. I guess I didn't think about the getting our address ect... from the phone number. She still had alot of personal things she knew about us that I will explain to you if you guys come out. I think you would find our home a intresting investigation and worth the trip. Feel free to come out and your more than welcome to crash here for the eve since it is a drive.

ps this is ghostlymom and I did register but must of spelled something wrong because i cannot get on under my name. Go figure, I yell at my husband all the time for his spelling errors when he posts. lol

Meth it would be so cool for you to do an investigation at their home....It seems like they have a lot of paranormal things going on there by their reports...Let me know if you gonna take the plunge and do it...I would love to see what you find....

I'll talk to the others in our group Sunday at our meeting, but i'm sure they'll be up for it. Just out of curiosity, how would you guys feel about the investigation being televised? The reason I ask is because presently, our investigations are being filmed for a ghost hunter show, which will air in October. If you guys would be opposed to it, I understand completely and we could still do the investigation privately. It's just a thought.

Anyway, I will talk to the others and there will of course be some preliminary things we'll have to do and go over with you guys.

Hi all. Its ghostlymom. Meth I tried to redo my own name again and used a password that I use for everything even wrote it down and checked the spelling and it still says password incorrect. Hmmmm. Anyway just wanted to tell you lastnight I wanted to respond to your post and was sitting at the computer and just got to your site and I felt my "friend" in the room. This man wants me to put a for sale sign in front of the house. Anyway the dog came flying down the stairs barking, growling and biting. Then my computer logged off. Guess he didn't want me to invite you guys out and tell you we would have no problem with our investigation being televised. I would like to hear the details of how that happens so forth so on. Congrats on the tv show. I can only hope its an honest rendition of a real paranormal investiagation. TAPS is getting really lame. Laughing

Well I can honestly say that Meth would never do an investigation that was like taps...I don't think he is really impressed with them to begin with....As soon as things start picking up around my home again..He said something about doing an investigation for me...I will say that I would trust his team exclusively because they are not in it for the fame and fortune they are in it for the research of paranormal and above all else "keep it real" ....Geez Laughing

Meth I sound like a commercial for the Strange Happenings team...Make me stop!!!! Laughing

No seriously I think it would be a great idea...Also Meth keep us informed when this is going to air on television...I don't want to miss it....K

I think it would be a good idea as well. We would enjoy the group coming out and think they would enjoy the investigation as well. I know they have heard a thousand times my house is haunted and stuff happens here constantly and you go and get nothing. I have never had that happen here. We get activity often. Sometimes very little and others not so calm. The termostat is a constant battle almost daily, along with smells ( we need smellovision) LOL. Evp's are a given, orbs are like everyday ( I know they are thought to be dust but I don't believe they all are. We have had them follow the camera around.) And the man that scares the crap out of me and makes me feel like I just want to put a for sale sign up and bail makes visits often. So it is never a boring day in our home. Not to mention the history of the place which made me fall in love with it to begin with. Am waiting impatiently to see if they want to make the trip out. The television thing is cool but we too are not trying to advertise our home. I just think if you are into studying the paranormal this is a good place to do that and I am always trying to learn more myself so I would enjoy a group to come out that knows their stuff.

Has anyone ever experienced someone sitting on your feet when you are sleeping. My 16yr old has complained about this for the last couple nights. She said someone is sitting on the end of the bed on her feet. This is a new one for me. Think I would just have to kick em. LOL.
