| Yes I've had this happen many times...something sitting on my legs or feet but that coincides with "my sleep paralysis" so I'm not sure what your 16 year old is experiencing...Ask them if they also cannot move their body while this is happening or if they can't yell out etc,...if that is the case ..I would chalk it up to sleep paralysis...instead an actual entity sitting there...of course I can't disprove that either...kind of still researching the whole thing. |

Hi,
My daughter explains it as if something heavy is sitting on her feet and she cannot roll over. She has asked them to please move so she can move. She says once they did immediately move and the other time it happened they didn't. |

| The reason that I asked if she could move or if she was awake because in the past my mother and father had something similar happen to them....They were both awake at the time and have no explanation as to why it happened....They claim that it happen quite a few times....Wish I could help but unfortunately I have no idea what it was that was sitting on their legs.. |

For years I used to experience a sensation of not being able to move any part of my body at all after being fully awake in the middle of the night. It would last for 20 to 30 seconds before I could finally will myself to move. I never committed myself to believing it was a paranormal experience but I still wonder if it was. |

| Dead of night ....could have been what is called "ASP" Awareness sleep paralysis....pretty intense thing that I've had to deal with for years....I'm going to be posting in that thread soon....anyway the feeling of not being able to move is common....nobody knows why or what is happening to the person while this is happening. I've lived with it for years....keep your eyes peeled I'm going to be posting in that topic soon...You'll probably be able to relate to it.... |

your story convinces me... However, i'll give everyone advice about (most) phsycics: they are the biggest douches in the universe!!! They pray on the sorrows of others for money. here's a typical example:
"A phsycic walks into a room full of people. She says 'i'm getting a Derek. Does anyone know Derek? He says hello to John.' A man jumps up in the room and says 'that's me! But I don't know a Derek...' the phsycic then goes through a whole list of names: 'Oh, sorry I misheard the spirit. John, Jack' and so on until the man says, 'yeah, I know a Jack or whatever!!!' The Jack later turns out to be a dead relative or whatever and the phsycic tells the gullible punter WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR (i.e. he's happy, he's gone to a better place etc.)
I watch an english late night ghost program called Haunted Homes for laughs. The story is always the same, a family are having hauntings, usually centered around the youngest child in the family. Some medium (with a broad yorkshire accent comes in and as soon as she walks into the youngest child's room, she stops as if hit by Mike Tyson and says; "I can feel something...." then a skeptic walks into the room and says, bugger that, i can't feel a bloody thing! Nothing is happening. The medium will then say things like "ah! did you feel that?" as if some ghostly prescence brushed by her. The "haunting" is then sorted out and the medium disappears into the night to save another day.
Please guys, watch some Shirley Ghostman and you'll know what I mean. |

I agree that there are alot of fakes out there. Praying on people who are frightened from what they are experiencing. I had my own experience with them as well. Robin drove 2hours to get to my house and did not charge me a single dime just to try and help me and my family. There is not alot of them out there. _________________ Founder

| I would still be leery but at least not charging you adds to her creditibilty. |

Thought I would give you a little update on what has been going on here. We woke one morning to find the bottom of our bed soaked. Not the blankets just the fitted sheet and the mattress. No stain and no odor. We also found a puddle at the foot of our bed, and at the top of our stairs. Again no odor and no stains on white carpet. Yesterday morning around 6am I came downstairs. I did not like the feeling of the house immediately. As I was walking down the stairs I heard a whisper of air like someone blowing a candle out. I was sitting on the couch and I got just a terrified feeling. The dog started barking and growling. I got so frightened I decided to go back upstairs. I called the dog and told him we were going to see daddy so he ran up the stairs. As I was walking through the diningroom, I can hear the dog on the steps. A dinningroom chair fell over right in front of me. I yelled never to do that "f"ing again and ran upstairs. lol _________________ Founder
