My name is Jayson. I live in akron Ohio. Ever since i was a kid i have been one of the few believers in my family. Then i found out the enitire Lawrence side of my family is pagan and wiccan, and the truth was hidden from me for a reason. Now knowing these facts strange things keep happening. Heya Jayson,
Welcome to the forum! I'm not from Akron, but one of our favorite places to do investigations is pretty close to your area. It's a place called Tinker's Creek over in Cuyahoga Falls. We've gotten some really good evidence from that place!

I look forward to hearing about your experiences and please feel free to ask questions or sift back through some of our old discussions and get them going again.

appreciate the reply. if your ever back in ohio investigating look me up. i would love to go with you guys and see how professionals do things. i hunt ghosts, spirits, demons, and odditys as a hobby. the stories i could tell you lol. i also use to have some pictures from the battlefields of gettysburg with a lot of orb activity. All of this is my passion and id love to further indulge it. like i said feel free to look me up.

Heh.... I wouldn't call us professionals. There are no such thing as professional ghost hunters/paranormal investigators, despite what these television shows are leading people to believe. Much like yourself, it's just a hobby that we're passionate about.

The difference between us and the majority of other groups is, we challenge the old wives tales, superstitions and mystical belief systems, which were largely set forth by the late Ed Warren and his clones. We "assume" nothing and we do our best to formulate honest, realistic theories and opinions that are based on actual evidence and experience.

i hear what you are saying. i feel the same. i personally know that some things are bull. but the 6th sence and psychic abilities run heavily in my family. so i get seaious vibes certain places. In my time i have seen. A shadow, that haunted my basement where i was living and made me sleep with lights burning for 2 months. ive seen a lady in white in akron by stan hewit hall. i also hit something with my car one night that couldent have been a human. (wendigo or some form of extraterestrial) u prolly think im nuts by now but it happened. ive had to go into a possessed house to cleanse it. numerous hauntings at my girlfriends house that ended in massive property distruction. and for some reason my room-mate is a ghost magnent. he tends to attract them and spread them wherever he goes. so if u ever need another body or somebody you can outrun in a panic after seeing something spooky. give me a call. lol

We all have different realities and see the world around us from a slightly different perspective. With that being said, the only ultimate truth that exists is just what I said; there are as many realities as there are sentient beings to make them up.

You don't have to be psychic to see the things you have seen. You just have to be open to the experience and the possibilities. The closer you are to the vibrational state of the "ghost" of a specific area the more you will sense them. When I use the word "sense" I don't mean you only feel them, I am talking about all of your senses to include you physical senses.

I find it funny that you left a light burning for 2 months because of a shadow in your room. Whether on or off the light makes no difference to the entity. It only makes a difference in your mind. This illusion of control that we tell ourselves we have does not exist. We have no control or authority over any other being in existence, nor should we! Cleansing is a joke and only works in the convinced mind of the fearful (but only for a little while). That is until the fear creeps back into their rooms at night and hides under the bed.

I do not hunt I visit. I use a different method then most but I promise you I will give you results.
Have you heard of Rogues Hollow in Doylestown? All the stories that have come from this area. And the reason for these stories passed down to us ?
Prohibition. During the time of prohibition people would set up stills in the woods. To keep people from finding out they created ghost stories.
