Isn't it amazing how such a "common" thing as an appendix can be such a headache in this day and age of modern medicine. I'm sure she will be just fine though!
I have been nursing a bad tooth since I came back from San Antonio. The dentist has me on antibiotics and vicodin so I'm doing ok but the pain was really bad Sunday and Monday. _________________ Frank Ratka

Sorry to hear that Frank...I hate dentists!!!! I don't think there are many people who don't put off going to the dentist when they should just go and get it over with....I have no idea where the fear comes from but hehehe I avoid them
My hubby had a tooth problem about 6 months ago and they put him on antibiotic and vicoden...problem was the vicoden wasn't really working all that well and he eventually had the tooth pulled...What freaked him out was that the dentist started to try to pull it at his office and then told my husband it wouldn't work that he had to go to a surgeon...freaked my hubby out!!! Why would he even try to pull it if he needed a surgeon to do it? My hubby said that when he got into the surgeons chair it was seconds and the tooth was out....the dentist tried for a half hour....hmmmm incompetent is a word to describe him huh?
My daughter is back to school and has lost 10 pound...she really couldn't afford to lose that much but with a surgery well...it happens..I agree Frank with modern medicine as it is you would think it would be a run of the mill surgery but in her case it ruptured into two pieces and it was kind of a seek and find for the surgeon because it wasn't were the typical appendix was located...? have no idea why? Also an abcess had already formed so instead of a "laparoscopic" "through the belly button" surgery she had to have and invasive incision so it will take a little longer to heal. Had it not ruptured they could have done the surgery with non invasive technique....appendix are tricky little organs... |
