Going to check out the remake of Halloween

My hubby and I are going to see Zombie's movie saturday. God, I hope it's not a bomb! I loved the first one. Scared the shit out of me.

I've been waiting for this movie to come out for over 2 years. It definitely looks like it will be good, but after House Of 1000 Corpses, i'm not getting my hopes up! Evil or Very Mad

What a complete waste of film that was!

I totally agree, aedryan. Let's just hope that Rob Zombie's directing style has progressed, and his budget is bigger, lol.

Humm i haven't seen a godd horror movie in a long time, it's pretty much the same crap just different actors!! LOL
But i must admit i did like the SAW series!! I still haven't seen the omen yet so i think that will be my next horror to watch!

Let me know what this ones like Butterfly..

Oh and Aedryan what did you think about the Omen??

I LOVE the Saw movies! Horns

Omen was "okay"..... It wasn't much different than the original one.

i haven't seen the new omen. Last horror movie I saw was hmmm...God, I can't even remember. Now my husband wants to wait and go see the third installment of resident evil. I agreed. We can wait for halloween to come out on dvd. It only takes a month or two now. It'll probably get released on halloween, lol. So butterfly's critics corner will have to wait guys and gals.

Yeah i really dig the first saw movie.....it was really creepy....and i am proud to say i watched it ALONE!!!! AAARRRGGGHHH but i love getting scared so..all good!

Bummer about Omen though....really wanted it to be good! oh well i will watch it and then watch Saw again to make up for it if it's shit!! LOL

i'm so glad i didn't pay any of my hard earned money on halloween if the reviews are right. I can wait until dvd time for sure. Resident evil, extinction is the one i can't wait to see.

Yeah nothing beats the classics......it's always hard to remake a movie it hasn't got the same impact ya know.
Oh well hopefully someone will come up with something new soon to scare the crap out of me.....lol

The new Halloween movie isn't a remake though. It revolves around the events, which lead up to the first Halloween movie.

I'm sorry to hear it's getting shitty ratings. I was rooting for Rob Zombie on this one.... Crying or Very sad

We been getting all the horror fest movies and there are few good ones in there. Grave Dancers, Wicked Little things, The Abandon. We also watched Penny Dreadful but didn't like it. Horrorfest is movies they said was to bad to be released.

Been trying to find The Hamilitons It also Horrorfest movie.

Other Horrorfest Movies we been waiting to get Darkride, Unrest and unrest is the one i really want to see, they use real cadavers.

So far these been best horror movies i have seen in while: If i had to pick the best i say it was Wicked Little Things.

i know the movies you're talking about. The truly gross and freaky ones. I think i saw unrest in the walmart in my area. Check the 13.99 or 9.99 section. Or just order it through circuit city or best buy. I haven't been to the movies in a long time, but i have watched some dvd's lately. I watched vacancy the other night. Definitely made me want to reconsider EVER taking a scenic route or wanting to stay in any motels along the way. That movie was freaky!

Wal-Mart has unrated Versions?

We have Netflix and get all our's from there, finally did find The Hamilitons and should be getting that tomorrow.

I never really cared for Halloween so not sure if going to get it or not when is released.

I went and seen the new Halloween. I wont say it was horrible. Rob Zombie made a good attempt with the story line, but it just had the same Halloween effects.I give it a 5/10
