Curious About Ghosts

Well, I had quite the strange experience in th VA capitol building with my friend.
I had severe vertigo in the old part of the building, it was hard to look at the dome in the middle of the building. I felt an extremely strong presence touch my mind and unreadable thoughts flooded my mind. THERE WERE COLD SPOTS EVERYWHERE!!! As soon as I got out of that place, I took a few deep breaths and felt fine. My friend said he heard "Why are these people in here....." when the tour group entered a wing (I don't know which one). Two other people in our goup had the same experience, severe vertigo was common. 
This might sound like BS, but it's all true, you don't have to believe me, but I hope you do. I am sensetve to these things, it feels really strange. I don't know why.
