I'm curious to know what they did to you.
They advertize they are a ligitimate friendly 24 hour live chat area where people can discuss hauntings and paranormal things without fear of being ridiculed. They kicked me out of their live chat for asking about haunted locations around a certain city then sent me an insulting message telling me what a worm I was for asking that! They said by asking that I was trying to exploite thier chat members! Then had the nerve to tell me that if they could help me with anything to Email them. Well I sent them two Emails and never got a single response again from them. I've never been on such an unfriendly paranormal chat area in my life.
Before I posted on their chat I saw all kinds of messages about what they had for breakfast and everything except a discussion about paranormal things. Now I am curious if anyone else has been kicked in the face for nothing by their moderators? Certainly I'm not the only one they ejected for absolutly nothing.
I've found many links to their site talking about what a wonderful website it is and how much it has to offer. Makes me wonder if they are paying people to say that because I find nothing of the kind on their website. There are other website that have much more to offer than ghostchatter.com. Why do they have a ".com" anyway unless they are making money from it? |

Damn, Bryon! Look at the other threads under this forum. There are many unsatisfied users of ghostchatter. Most of us have been kicked off for absolutely nothing. Hell some here have been kicked off simply because they are members of this forum.
Being kicked off ghostchatter is a badge of honor! Don't feel put-out or less than, you ended up in the right place.

You got that right Frank. Thanks much for the response.
I have been doing some research and finding quite a few posts from people who have been kicked off ghostchatter.com for no good reason. People just wanting help with a haunting or to ask a question about ghosts and BAM! They get kicked off just like I did.
They should post a message on their home page saying "The most unfriendly paranormal website on line! Enter at your own risk!"
I was thinking that people should be warned about that outfit. If someone had warned me about them I wouldn't have logged in there in the first place. So I am working on a page telling the truth about ghostchatter.com and what happens to some of us who've been there. I'm all for collecting other stories from people who've been kicked out of there.

Some of our paranormal investigations are on that site or linked from that page including pictures, animations and EVP's. Laura actually captured a ghost changing phase and passing into the IR light range and then into a ball that vanishes behind a post. Shot at Gold Hill Hotel on the staircase and the ghost comes with a smell like blended cherry pipe tobacco. They call him William.

I tell you, that woman is a nazi and I'm the one who's German! I read the post on your website about your ghostchatter.com experience. I apologize for your experience with them I wish there was a way to put out information about bad places like that on the web. Genesta is just mean and stupid enough to file a liable lawsuit if we were to publish an actual column against her and her organization.
Hell you should have read the "ghostchatter sucks" column on the old forum. You are now on the new forum that is why there are very few posts here. We are trying to build it back up but we had to do some house cleaning first when we had a could members go rouge and threaten the forum owner.
Basically there are only 2 ways to get booted from here...threaten another member and consistantly make ridiculous claims (usually young kids with family issues).
Anyway, if you need information or someone to point you in the right direction just let us know. As they say, there are no stupid question. We can answer questions for the beginner or an advanced investigator.
I'm glad you are here to offer moe experience to the pot! Welcome! Have you found the info you needed for the DJ? If not I would ask some other investigation groups in the area first.

I feel welcome here.
The page you read on my site about ghostchatter.com, was it one you had to get to from a link from the main page? The origional was at the bottom of the main page but the new updated one is from a link from the bottom of the main page.
I'm also working on a True Ghost Stories page there now. These stories are from my own past experiences. I'll be working on that today since I have an infected toe and the doctor told me to stay in and keep it propped up and, well let's just say it's limited my mobility quite a LOT. That keeps me inside near my laptop. I needed to update that site and get some new things on there anyway.
I am familiar with some of the best haunted places in Fort Smith, but most places either someone lives there or the people in charge don't want the building recognized as being haunted. That's been my problem here. I have to go miles to find places that I can work for our Spooky Places show. I hope one day to recover from the financial backsets and get that show on the air somewhere. Easter Films owner Mark Easter in Reno said he would love to distrubute the show for me. He's also asking for Ghost's of Pipers that literally got dumped in my lap because the guy who was supose to edit it ran off with the original tapes. Made my friend Amy (the producer/owner) really mad. So she asked me if I would help her and edit it for her and I said "sure."
There's some things that are not working correctly on the Ghosts of Piper's home page to. There's always something that needs fixed on my sites.

anyway I posted this on the Old forums? so i will post it here as well, hope thats ok
I registered with ghostchatter yesterday, signed in and soon as I entered the chat I got a message saying a story was in progress and to save chatting for after. Ok no problem, I say nothing and read story that was being told. Ok I get up and go refill my drink and come back and I have been disconnected, ok no problem I sign back in and it says I am banned!! I was there maybe about 5-10 minutes? which part of that time I was putting 4 things on my profile as per the rules, did that and saved , went for soda and was banned for nothing. But personally after looking at the websites more, it is a poo site and I think they may have some mental issues..  |

Did they ever tell you why you were kicked off?
I've read they spend a lot of time searching other paranormal forums and chats just so they can keep a list of who uses those other paramormal sites. If they find your name on any of them they will kick you out.
They do not want their own members to have a link to others who know about Genasty. Of course all they have to do is go search other sites and they can't keep from finding us. |

Tis a fact! We've had many MANY people come through our forums, who were banned from GhostChatter for coming here. They monitor our forums constantly!
Even so much as one little mention of Aedryan Methyus or the Strange Happenings Ghost And Hauntings Research Society will ensure you of a swift trip to the infamous GhostChatter garbage can!

I'm laughing so hard right now I can hardly type!
You guys are all right. Insightful, funny, and if you were here right now I would drag the old boat out, we could go to the river, have a few drinks and just have fun for a few hours. Yeah!
I've been kinda stressed out lately and it's been so darn hot here. I've done just a bit over $3000.00 worth of work to this old 67 Mariner boat to restore it and I've yet to take it to the water to see if they did a good job on the engine yet. I should be working but I can't keep my mind on work so there's no point trying.

Heffer...I haven't heard that term in forever! I'm with Bryon, I am laughing so hard it hurts. If you look at my signature you will see a new blog of mine called parateamreview. Its an idea I am tossing around a little to review certain shady teams and individuals in our community. Let me know if you think it is a good idea or not.
Bryon, my dad called me specifically to gloat about the specks, sand-trout and redfish he is catching right now in Christmas bay. We have a center console bay boat and a 17 ft modified hull aluminum boat with a tiller for the small, hard to reach places.  He ended the conversation with, "it sure feels good to be retired". I ended it with, "Fuck off"!
