Ghost "sensations"

Hello

I have had experiences with ghosts for years. My husband and I have also heard them at the same time in different rooms of the house. A night ago, while I was sleeping, a ghost asked me to look at her, but I was scared and refused to. She then touched my shoulder and I felt a sort of burning(?) sensation, it's hard to describe. I got annoyed and grabbed the ghost, but her fingers seemed to "bend" -- as if they were made out of something soft and pliable, no skeleton inside. I also heard very strange noises in the background almost electric, and yet almost like water or something "wet,"; again, very hard to describe. These occurences only happen when my husband isn't around so I am terrified to sleep alone. Before he moved in with me I used to deal with these hauntings even more frequently.

My question is, is it normal for a ghost to produce a strange sensation and "weird" noises whenever they are around? Why did the ghost feel "pliable?" This is probably about the 2nd or 3rd time I've been touched by a ghost (I usually only sense them or hear them, and rarely see them). Also, are the noises I mentioned typical? Let me add that I do not have any psychological problems and I work in the field of psychiatry myself.

All the stuff you are describing is brand new to me and I have had experiences with the paranormal all my life.

Ghosts are sometimes accompanied by noises, but that is somewhat rare. Usually the sounds are something commonplace, like a bell or knocking, stuff like that.

The whole thing about being able to grab the ghost and bend it's fingers like soft rubber suggests something other than a ghost. What exactly it might be, I don't know. I would guess it is someone who is adept at astral travel and able to physically manifest in some way while doing so.

The crackling and water noises would suggest an open vortex of some kind. Sometimes people shift around in time and space when they are astral traveling and they mess things up, kind of like the prop wash from a jet's turbines as it is moving through the air.

I will ask around and see if any of my friends have any ideas about what has been visiting you. Maybe they have heard of or experienced something like what you are describing.

Aedryan, shame on you!!! It took me a few to figure out what you thought was so funny, and then the big Edith Bunker "ah haaa!" struck me, followed by the same dismay she used to show when she finally "got it". All I can say is, there was no mention of vibrations, so stop it! Stop it! Stop it! LOL

wk555, I got a prompt response from a couple of friends in Denver, and they feel that your ghost is probably not a ghost, but someone playing around with astral travel, or maybe not exactly playing. They also feel that the electric crackling noises may be from a vortex, where the person has moved in and out of one to make contact with you.

The wet sensations I am guessing would be better described as a feeling of being in water? Like the air has become liquid? If so, then you are dealing with someone who is moving around as a spirit, but who is actually alive somewhere. I have been visited by spirits who made the air feel like water, and I have been a spirit who when I entered the physical plane felt like I was moving in water.

I am not sure why this happens, but for some reason the interaction of the spirit plane with the physical plane in this particular kind of instance seems to do that. I hope this helps.

I will continue to ask around about what you are talking about and see what some of my other friends have to say about it.

The ONLY Entity(ies) I will allow near me, to actually give me Physical "Touching Sensations" are my Family who has crossed.
I NEVER allow Anyone else into my Aura or Private Auric Space, other than my Angels, Guides and Totem Animals.
