| Just in my opinion. We have to be very careful when looking at digital photos. You can tell there is a reflection of some sort and the mirror is smudged. This will cause us to see things that are not of a paranormal nature. Again this is just my opinion. |

Ditto! The camera seems to be of pretty low megapixel and the flash of low quality, so there are a lot of pixelations to begin with. The mirror is a reflective surface with lots of smudges all over it for the flash to reflect off of. Absolutely perfect conditions for matrixing! For giggles, I did look at the photo under enhancements though and I still wasn't even able to connect the dots and form anything that appeared to be ghostly....
Thanks for sharing and please don't take offense. We are all about honesty here, so we call things the way we see them. Please feel free to share any other strange findings with us in the future!

Well, I will admit that it's not the best camera in the world, but the next day, I took the mirror and looked at it with a similar source of light from the same angle (to the best I could get it.)
I didn't see the same thing that I saw in the picture.
What should I do? Clean up the mirror and borrow my mother's (far superior) camera and try to get the same lucky shot that I got with this one? |

What ya should do is avoid taking pictures of mirrors and other reflective surfaces....
Honestly, I am almost to the point where I would just about say that it's not even worth taking pictures (among other things) during investigations anymore to tell ya the truth. The sad truth is that nearly every photographic anamoly in existence has been debunked. My advice is to put the majority of your focus on capturing/studying electronic voice phenomenon - Especially if you are looking for a quick paranormal fix. You will almost always capture spirit voices and they are about the only unexplainable form of evidence there is left.
Please feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to help ya out!

And why do you say not to take EVP's from your own home? Just wondering. I have many EVP's from my house. I have to admit they do kind of freak you out when you get them in the place you live. I have one from my bedroom that I NEVER want to hear again. It pretty much says in a not so polite way to get out. LMAO. But you cannot take them in context either. Was he telling me to get out or the 3 other people who don't live here to get out. I choose to believe the latter. |

I don't think doing EVP work is what pissed them off. We use our house as kind of a training place for people who want to join our group. So we investigate it often. This has not caused activity to increase. Sometimes when we have alot of people here they do get more active. If something is violent it's violent. EVP did not make it anymore violent. |

Hi there. Can't speak for everyone else's experience - just my own most recent thing:
I recently dedicated a room in my apartment chiefly to collecting EVP. I also took a couple long recordings in my bedroom. For the last week there's been a medley of unexplained banging and tapping on doors. We've exhausted all reasonable explanations at this point.
I'm a very logical, even person. But frankly it's hard to sleep lately. Whatever it is may mean no harm, but the banging has gotten violently loud. People have been living here peacefully and w/out complaint (the landlord said) for over 12 years. |

Hi again Aed,
Basically I have quite a few EVPs I can share. I will be happy to post them in the near future. But just for now my sense is it's best to hault all my EVP activities for a while. Which includes recording, discussing or listening to specific EVPS.
I'm trying to starve this individual of any attention so it won't be encouraged to continue w the freakin banging.
How would you handle this? ... Just curious. Thanks and I hope you've been doing well. |

| We had the same kind of situation at our home. It was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep at night. We eventually had to remove a door at the bottom of our steps because it would slam so hard the house would shake and wake us all up. This is going to sound really stupid but I promise you it works. When you are going to bed at night tell them OK we are going to sleep now. Keep the noise down and NO MORE BANGING. Be firm but respectful. We get what sounds like a bowling ball being thrown down our stairs and my husband will tell em to knock it off and it they usually will. Give it a shot it couldn't hurt. Let me know how it goes. |

Hey thanks a lot!
Actually, we just spoke to it/them yesterday and asked whoever it was to stop. It's been silent around here so far. If that didn't work though, your advice will be my next step
Glad you found something that worked for you btw. Sounds really disruptive. |
