Why do most people hunt after dark? Also, we have had activity in our home from the death of a loved one. Activity was periodic for ten years but nothing for past year. Can we do something to bring it back? |

| Thats what I've always wondered. Why would paranormal stuff only happen at nite. I have heard of a few instances where during the day people have caught stuff in the daylight. |

My first encounter was in the daytime. Actually, at 3:30 PM. I hate to tell people what I saw because it sure doesn't sound normal (stupid word for this post!). It looked like a sheer curtain that was hanging in the middle of the room, you could see through it, above and below it but it looked like it was "pushed" together on a rod (which it wasn't). When it moved, it didn't show resistance with the air. After that, all the events happened after dark.
However, still makes me wonder why you see the "lights out" in the dark hunting. |

Oh, ok...I just kinda made a new theory of my own, maybe people do it during the night cause its more spooky. Or it is easier to spot things that glow in the dark. BTW I am from missouri as well. |

| Ashley, and honda, good question! I am not sure either. I did hear that between 12:00-6:00 or so,(esp at 3:00pm) is what I hear people refer to as the witching hours.3:00pm. is supposed to be a insult to the trinity, so I have heard that evil spirits esp. like this time to come out.I have seen spirit forms in the daytime, more than at night myself. |

A theory is that ghosts require more energy to manifest around people. Since less people are around at night, this could be the answer. |

Most investigations are done at night for two reasons(that I can think of)
The first being that paranormal events tend to happen mostly at night, but of course anything there at night is also there during the day.
The Second being it is much more quiet at night, and make for much less noise or interruption during an investigation(ie: some haunted buildings are not abandoned but fully opened to the public...untill after close... most places are closed at night.
My own personal look on this is the oppisite effect.... life death oppisites....day night oppisites. Life in the day ...death at night...i hope thats not confusing. |
