What if we were to enter a known haunted location with some sort of power source that would artificially enhance the electricity in the air and omit large, excessive amounts of energy throughout the area? I don't know what this would be exactly. Perhaps an arch welder or some such? It would need to be something would omit an extremely large amount of voltage.
It seems that since spirits are thought to require energy to manifest themselves, if you were to supply them with an ample energy source, they would more easilly be able to do so.
What do you guys think?

Aedryan,
Use a Van DeGraff generator! To buy one is pretty expensive but you can make one. Any equipment that puts out a high static charge will charge the area. If you don't want to deal with high-voltage devices then use one of those "ion breeze" air-cleaners and dehumidifiers, which would probably be much safer.
The trick is in increasing the air-ion count, which will increase the electrostatic charge by infusing free electrons into 3D space. These free electrons will adhere to anything with a positive charge, so ESD (electrostatic discharge) will be a problem. Don't touch your equipment during this experiment unless you want to buy all new equipment. I predict you will see blue flashes of light and possibly other more "noticible" effects. This prediction coincides with my own research and fits the "physical profile" of an entity (by hypothesis). 
A word of caution for the Van Degraff generator! The humidity levels of the atmosphere will determine what will be charged by these excess ions. Static shock is a very real problem. We are not talking about the little, "getting out of the car on a cold day" shock either. We are talking about putting you on your ass kind of shock! 
We do not use these on any of our investigation because of our "observe and record" rules pertaining to residential and commercial investigations.

| yes i think that mini generators should cause ghost to appear to the naked eye but youll lose much of yur equiptment. I think that this is a method you should try when revisiting an area. Also i can spread my aura so the enities can use it to make themselves stronger. its a wierd ability that i have... |
