Ouija boards , I know you did some study on these Aedryan but I am interested to know more….
Is it possible that once you have called on a spirt that it’s stays in our realm and doesn’t return to it’s own?? (as it is said that you open the portal to the other side to contact them)
Is it possible to have after affects of calling on a sprit via the ouija board?? (bad luck ect)
The reason that I am asking is that for some reason my dad will not let a Ouija board in our house, he will not give a real reason as to why but he did say that he had used one before and never will again….he has never gone into further details about it even though I wish he would tell me what he experienced…..all he says is, It scares the shit out of him….

Hummm, there are too many Rumours about this Topic, some people clam that they have had a sprit stay with them and haunt them afterwoods, i guess i am just trying to find out weather or not this could actually happen, also i have heard claims that people be seriously hurt when mucking around with these as well...
I was thinking about trying this out myself and see what happens but i want to educate myself a little better before i try it out....... |

Em,
It still remains to be proven that spirits/demons, etc even truely exist, let alone whether a Ouija Boards is capable of contacting them. All I can say is, I have used them A LOT and my 13 year old daughter and her friends use them in my house constantly and aside from getting a little creeped out once in awhile by some of the creepy, off the wall stuff they've said, NOTHING paranormal has ever happened that I could attribute to its use. I can't say that I recall ever seeing someones head spin around in circles or anyone vomiting up pea soup during/after a session....
I still plan on doing a lot more experimenting with the Ouija Board, once I have some time to get back into paranormal investigation. If that ever happens....

Try to record EVP's during your sessions and document EVERYTHING! Aside from the fact that you will get some EVP' regardless, recording Ouija Board sessions is great, because you can go back and write out transcripts and keep logs from all of your sessions for future comparisons, etc....
Also, be very patient and don't expect the Ouija Board to start saying things that make a lot of sense as soon as ya put your hands on the planchet. It can take a pretty long time sometimes before they really start working good and definitive, legible messages start "coming through" (possibly even up to an hour or two). Also, remember that they don't seem to work real well with some people for some reason....

I think I was editing my message a little while you were posting, so ya might wanna skim back though....
I also wanted to add, just be sure to follow strict EVP protocols to the T. Make sure your sessions are in a quiet, controlled environment, with no TV's or radios going and no one else in any other rooms of the house while you're recording - No whispering and if anyone present makes ANY sort of wierd sound (clearing their throat, couching, sniffing, mumbling, making the floor creak, noisy clothing rubbing together, etc), EVERYONE must verbally say "so and so just made a noise", so you'll know what it was when ya go back and review your audio.
Keep us posted!

| aedryan, you and I could get in a serious debate over the ouija that's for sure. I think they are dangerous. I know that's just an opinion (formed by my upbringing), but to me, they are. Your turn, lol. |

I don't think they are dangerous, i just think that are something not to be mucked around with...(this is my opinion and i base this on what happened to my dad)
Aedryan,
Still need to know if there are supposed to be a certain amount of people involved when i do this?? |

Em,
I've had good sessions with anywere between 2 and 6 people and i've had bad sessions with anywhere between 2 and 6 people. They just don't seem to work well with some people for some reason.
Everyone always warns against using Ouija Boards alone, but I have yet to ever see one work with only one person. I don't feel that it's even possible....

I don't think i would try it on my own anyway!!!
OK so about 4 people should be enough.....got heaps of people interested in trying it with me, so if it no work at least i can change it up a bit with different people!!
I will let you know how it goes anyway!!
Oh one other thing, i have heard you can make one yourself or you can buy one, which one is better??? |
