I have wrote a diary of all the stranges dreams I have. They come with explinations as to why they are strange ... you'll see why!
1)I was in a church and it was someones wedding. Mum was there and she was holding flowers, she said; "your nana loves you very much." The next day would have been my nana's birthday.
2)I walked into my back room and my uncle Paulino from Italy was lying down, he pukkerd up his lips for a kiss. I kissed him, then he stood infront of a bight white light and smiled at me, he then dissapeared. This was 3 days after he died. I found out that my cousins had the same dream as me, but on the night he died.
3)I was in Italy again, and I saw my Godfather; Salvatori sitting on a coffin. He was smoking and he was also crying hysterically. I found out later on, from a phonecall with my mum, that Salvatori had a health scare due to exessive smoking, and he was also smoking more over the grief of his dead uncle, Paulino.
4)I had adream that my nana was next to my bed, pointing at it saying ;"turn it around". My room had changed round, and my bed was facing a differant way. Previously before, a medium friend of mine came round and told me the spirit of my nana was in my room and she watched me sleep. She said she didnt like my bed facing a differant way because it confused her, and she couldnt see me. The dreams kept returning. One one night, I was about to get into bed and I saw that the bed had been moved to a slant, I had to push the bed with a freat force back to its original postion. The bed was eventually repositioned how my nana wanted it, and the dreams stopped. Until, one night I had a dream where she said; "thankyou for moving the bed". Then the dreams stopped all together.
5) I dreampt that my boyfriend; Dave's cat died. But it turned into a figure, who died. I couldnt see who it was. I felt sos ad the following day. Later on I discoverd that Dave's neighbour whome I'd never met before had passed on. Dave's mum had a similar dream where she recieved a phone calling saying that her neighbour had died. Later on that day, she got the phone call. The night which she died, I dreampt that the figure walked into a bright white light and then she dissapeared.
All of these are 100% true, I have no control over my dreams, but whenever I do have a dream like this is always means something. I was told by my medium friend that I wasnt aware of spirit presences, however I had the gift to be able to recieve messages from the dead.

HI,
In all the research on dreams I have done here is something to think about. Supposedly if you dream of a departed loved one than that loved one is passed over. If someone you know died and you don't dream of them than supposedly they have not passed over. Just what I have always read. |

wow...now thats something to really think about ...
something strange I've heard, apparently, when your ear rings its said to be a spirit attempting to communicate with you, but they cannot for whatever reason...given that the person does not have a record of ear problems! _________________ xxLoveMetalxx |

I think we may be confusing ourselves here....Nobody can predict what they are dreaming and some people can even interpret something that happens after they dream it into some kind of sign from their dreams..for instance...I recently dreamed of a cat scratching the wall....it's in the other forum I believe..anyways just last week a cat of a friend died...now when I had the dream the very next day I was at my friends and she told me "Nobork" "yeah I know wierd name for a cat" had developed a fast growing tumor in her throat...could my dream have been a sign that nobork was going to die? I don't think so but when I first heard that the cat was sick, I interpreted that ...that could have been what my dream meant...see what I'm getting at here?
Also ringing in the ears can mean a number of things..."High blood pressure" "low blood pressure" onset of an ear infection etc,...If we believe that spirits are trying to communicate with us via our ears ringing then the doctors are wrong and the old wives tales kick in....Speaking of which ....I was always told that if your ears are ringing that someone is talking about you...your supposed to take the hand from the opposite side of your ear that is ringing and pinch the earlobe....hehehe they are supposed to bite their tongue for talking about you.....but again that's just an old wives tale... |

hi there
I see where your'e coming from. But dont you think it happend just a little too often to just be some sort of confusion?? And these dreams are so vivid and repeated, surely this cannot be normal. For instance, I wasnt to know that my boyfriend's neighbour was going to die ...however I had the dream and later on that day she did indeed die. It somethin to definatley think about and in my view I must admit its a little odd.
The whispering thing ... its just a tale I heard, I'm not saying its true or whatever, its just something I heard, and I found intresting. _________________ xxLoveMetalxx |

Lovemetal, I'm in no way saying that dreaming something that happens later is not odd...for instance. Just last August my sister from St. Louis Missouri called me in the middle of the afternoon. Now the reason that I found it odd is that she doesn't call me on a regular basis...Seems she had ...had a dream about me being in a car accident, in a black car, in a wooded area...the night before...So she asked me if I was ok...I told her that I was and that it was just a dream..she said be very careful..this dream was very vivid...now my sister is not one to go off the deep end because of a dream..She said that in the dream my mother had called her and told her I was killed in a car accident...and she said that she actually saw the black car like she was watching what happened. Two days later my other sister from Pittsburgh was trying frantically to call me or my other sister while we were watching fireworks...We didn't get the call so she called my sister in St. Louis..and told her that her son had been killed in a car accident...In a state of shock my sister from St.Louis said .....was he in a black car in a wooded area...and my sister from Pittsburgh said...OMG how did you know...Well needless to say my sister from St. Louis came home for the memorial service and the first thing she said to me was "I guess it wasn't you"...So can dreams come true? Was my sisters dream a premonition of what was going to happen to my nephew? In this case "Yes" I believe it was...
What I was getting at in my earlier post was not all dreams can fortell what will happen. But who am I to say that some dreams can't give us a clue of what will happen...In my sisters dream she thought it was me, but it turned out to be my nephew instead..so maybe it's all in the way we interpret our dreams... |

Yes I understand what you mean. Maybe some of us...I dont know ... kind of over exaggerate on the dream? Or, do we think about an event so much that it comes into our dream? We let our imaginations get the better of us? I dont know, no one knows the proper answer.
However, I believe things happen for a reason, its the way I am. I believe that the dreams I had happend for a reason. Some sort of message? Thats just me, my view. And I understand what you mean on your view. I believe that they were messages. I know its a more 'spiritual view' rather than I scientific...but a views a view, eh? lol
Thanks for sharing your ideas, they were intresting. = )xxxxx _________________ xxLoveMetalxx |

Well maybe in your case you are having dreams that signify a future event? I'm not going to say that you don't...I read your first post and it seems like we are birds of a feather you keep track of things the same way that I do...I keep a log of activities that ...well I can't explain and if at some time they prove something then ... I know I didn't write all of it down for nothing and your right a view is a view whether it's scientific or spiritual..you would know your situation better than I would...if you feel that it's a message go with it....go with your gut instinct, and maybe you'll be able to save a life who knows..??? |

Yeah, I think we should recommened people that have had the same experiances to keep a log of it, it helps to go through whats happening , analyse it. I wonder if I'll have a dream where I save someones life...who knows? Its an intresting thought. It would be great to seek a doctors view of this, see what his thoughts are. I'm sure it woild be totally differant to my spiritual view lol. Still, it would be intresting! _________________ xxLoveMetalxx |

| Lovemetal I'm sure the doctor would listen to all you have to say and then totally debunk the whole spiritual thing without you even realizing...They really aren't aloud to get into religion, faith, etc,.. besides by the time you talked to your PCP he would have a referral ready to send you onto another specialist and believe me when I say it's an up hill climb...I've went through it with my sleep paralysis. Guess what....they still don't have any answers..hehe you could give it a try..but don't be discouraged if you don't get any results. It is your view and what you believe and unless someone can sway your opinion it will stay the same right? |

Yeh I understand that. Doctors are expected to just stay to the scientific side. I'm quite stubborn when it comes to my views, so I dont think the doctor would change it lol! However, its fustrating, the doctors arnt kind of... allowed to think 'outside of the box' if you understand what I mean.
I've never really thought of going to a doctor about this ... it would be intresting though! If I try to change his view on it ... he might think im crazy lol. _________________ xxLoveMetalxx |

Your probably right...the specialist that he would send you too would be a shrink...
Doctors don't think outside of the box.... but the ones I know I tell them "Ya know to err is human and whether you believe it or not, heehe your diagnosis is not always right" |

hehe thats very true indeed!
they may not be aware of it... but, it must be weird not thinking outside of the scientific views, possibly fustrating. But probley, most doctors dont really see anything else but science! _________________ xxLoveMetalxx |

well, here's the thing:
The first dream about your nana could just be something to do with the knowledge that it would be her birthday the next day. I'm going to rule the first dream out. The others... sound like you have a certain awareness about the things going on in your family. I have heard about people dreaming about fire and smoke, thinking something bad is going to happen the day before 9/11. About your uncle's health scare, do your uncle have any children? If so, are you close to them? If so, you may have experienced his health scare through them. As for the other dreams, you shouldn't worry. We all have weird dreams and none of us can control them. |

i wasnt aware it was my nana's birthday
thats why it came as a shock to me. My uncle does have children yes (one which had the same dream) however im not close to them because they live in italy. It all came as a shock to me because things linked, or the event from my dream actually happend almost the day after. I must sound crazy lol.
thanks for your thoughts!!
