Granted, I never saw anything so I can't exactly back this up. Eh, I'll start at the beginning.
I was eight when my little brother died. He was three. Shortly after this I became depressed and withdrawn, and weird things began happening around the house. The first thing I remember is trying to take a nap with my Mom, but being unable to because I never enjoyed taking naps. There was a brown, crinkled paper bag on top of her TV, the top rolled down. As I watched it, the top suddenly unrolled and rerolled several times quickly. I laid there, eyes bugging out and terrified, next to my Mom. I never woke her up, because I knew she'd never believe me.
The next incident occurred after I had woken up in the night. This may be sleep paralysis, but I don't believe so since I didn't display any symptoms besides hallucination (maybe). I woke and looked into the hall, where I thought Mom was. She appeared to be wearing a flannel shirt, and my glasses weren't on so it really looked like her. Then it floated off the floor and towards the ceiling and I freaked and covered my head with the blankets, barely breathing. I looked again and there was no one there. I've also posted on the sleep paralysis topic, and that happened around the same time this did. Other things have happened as well, and if you'd like to hear about them I'll post them as well. |

Wow.... Good stuff!
Here are a few questions that come to mind:
1) Did all of these things (sleep paralysis episodes included) happen in the same house?
2) Did any of these things continue to happen after you moved?
3) Do they still happen?
4) How old were you when these things were happening and how old are you now?
Thanks for sharing and please do feel free to share all of your ghostly experiences with us!

1) No, we moved when I was around 17 or 18 we moved to a new house and some new things occured. The sleep paralysis, however, never included childrens voices again and instead switched to the chattering. It since stopped, for now and hopefully for a very long time.
2)Some of these things still occur. I went into my room once and, to my horror, saw what appeared to be a black many legged spider bolt into a pile of clothes. You can imagine my relief when I found nothing there! I've not since seen anything human shaped, thankfully, though every once in a while something does still make sounds. (If you want further posts of this, I'll include them)
3) Some of these things do still occur, but not as frequently. Lately, I just have month long panic attacks. I think I liked the spooky stuff more.
4) I was eight when it began, I'm now 19.
If you need more information just ask. I didn't include everything in thise post. |

Well I can tell you that death is definetly a trigger, although you may want someone elses explaination, because I'm more of the student than the teacher. haha.
It could have been that your brother stayed with you, that could actually be quite likely. You say that things still happen in your new house? Well it might behoove you to do some research at the local library, or ask about your town for information on it. If things really do happen, it's unlikely that it's a single occurance just with you.
Keep your chin up sir, you may see them, you may hear them, but just as long as you remain unharmed (as is 99.9 percent of the cases,) that's all that truely matters. You might even take some solace in the fact that it could have been your brother, perhaps he wasn't as detached after death as it appears in our realm. Please, keep us posted, all my best sir. _________________ I'm like the Twilight Zone on Crack baby! |
