There are many web sites and books out there that help explain what your looking at when looking at a picture of a Ghost. Here are a few of the simpler explanations. Feel free to test all of these to see for your self.
Ectoplasmic mist: Ectoplasmic mist is just the photographers breath or smoke from a cigarette of nearby fire.
White lines: White lines on your pictures are most likely the hair of the photographer that got in fromnt of the lens or the camera strap.
Red: If you have red in your photo, that is sun exposure to the film before the picture was taken.
White Spots: The same as red spots but instead of the sun it is just light.
Orbs: Orbs are one of the most popular images and yet most are just dust particles. Go ahead and try it. Shake a dusty rug and take a photo, and you have your very own orbs. And for bright orbs in the back ground of a photo it is most likely a stop sign or other street sign. They are highly reflective and will reflect the flash of your camera even from a long ways away. But there have been a few I could't quite explain.
Ghostly people: Most likely this is double exposure.
Shadow: Shadows are, hmmm, lets see. Oh yeah, shadows.
Ghost Video: I'm pretty sure most have seen that video of the junk yard ghost, well that could have easily been faked. But how. just swing an action figure around in circles having it reflect on to a piece of glass in front of the camera.
Now don't go thinking I am a skeptic, for I am a realist and there are very few photos I have seen that I couldn't explain but that doesn't mean that ghost photos arn't real, it jut means that you have to have an open mind when looking at bazaar images on your photos. After all you may actualy have a picture of a ghost. Happy hunting and hope this helps you all when reviewing you photos, it sure has helped me out and don't forget to have some fun and make your very own photos. _________________

| This test would be good for me, as a new ghost hunter. I tend to like to see Ghost pictures.I do not have a camera yet, just got my first digital voice recorder. |
