The only thing that Scooter Libby was found guilty of was lying about leaking sensitive information about Valerie Plame's identity. I am not a Bush fan but he has done nothing more than any other president has done. Crying or Very sad

You ought to see the list of people Clinton pardoned or Reagan or Carter.

This is nothing new, it is just made to look that way to bolster more Bush hating. I can't believe you bought into it without doing a little research. Laughing

Like I said before...I am not a fan of either side when it comes to party politics or philosophies. What I am a fan of is progress and change. I don't know who first came up with the saying but I believe "this country needs a political enema"! I think all incumbents need to be voted out and real people need to be brought it. Our founding fathers never intended for our seats of congress or any political office to be a lifelong career.

Bush is no different than Clinton or any other modern president, they are all crooked. He is just a freaking puppet. While people keep getting sucked into the he said/she said and name calling bullshit they are furthering their agendas. The only thing that has gotten worse is the fighting line between ideologies. People have gotten a lot meaner and hateful with respect to politics and political stances.

All this political fighting is a smoke screen or diversion. Their are no poor people on capital hill. They do not have a sense of where the "little man" or "poor" stand. Not a one of them have the pulse of the community. But they will all tell you they do and they are doing what they do for the better good.

What happened to fighting American spirit? The "I will die before you take my freedoms" attitude? Sacrifice and selflessness are foreign words now! People are cowards and not willing to fight for what they believe. They are too afraid of getting bombed at a mall, or going down in an airplane or some other terroristic act. Instead people are willing to give up personal freedom for the illusion of security.

It is an illusion you know? While you feel safe because of some new, intrusive legislation. These politicians have gained more power and control over your life.

You tell me "thank you for your opinion" as to not incite and argument. I don't argue, I debate. The problem with that is, you are taking a stance by supporting one side or the other and you have to expect a certain amount of friction. Don't ever try to shut me down with a "thank you for your opinion" statement.

My overall point is this, "quit concentrating on the details, they are whats keeping you blind of the slight of hand".

hope i don't get blasted for saying this, but i think bush doesn't care what he does anymore. when his term is over it will be left to another to fix or try anyway all the damage he's done on several issues. Bush will go down in the history books, regardless if its good or bad to some people, and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it. that's all. Just an opinion, not as detailed as fratka's. But that's how I feel. (Have ya notice that when bush gives speeches, he paused every few seconds? I think someone is reading his speech to him in his ear)
