I was reading about how the website disappeared from the search engines.

Sometimes the webpage generator doesn't make metatags, so you have to do an html edit and write them in with a description of the site that will target key words for the search engines. Without metatags the website doesn't exist for a lot of search engines.

I used to have a couple of websites and on one site the site description acted as a metatag. On the other website I had to encode them into the html for the page. There are websites that show you how to generate a metatag if you don't already know how.
