That singer is one dimensional and annoying as hell, but it's still always good to see bands trying to keep the spirit of the 80's alive. 25 years ago I may have liked this band. Man, that makes me feel soooo old....

Aedryan you disappoint me. When Angus was interviewed a few years back he was asked what his views were when critics said that all 18 AC/DC albums sounded the same. Hie reply: Fuck them guys we have 21 albums that sound all the same.
Sometimes one dimension works.

LOL@Angus! That's true too. AC/DC made millions off of those 20+ albums, using the same 3 chords in every song. They are perfect examples of why the golden rule of writing music AND marketing works - "KISS" (Keep It Simple Stupid). The reason the KISS principle works is, because average/simple-minded people are not able to follow/comprehend anything that is too complex or unusual or outside of the box. That is why newspapers are purposely written for people with about a 7th grade reading level, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I loved AC/DC and all the other 80's bands "back in the day". That's the music I cut my teeth on as a musician and those were fun, great, beer drinking, pot smokin' times. But, that sound is dead and gone forever, as it should be. I can't believe i'm saying that, because I prayed for it to come back for years. But, eventually I realized that it deserved to die, because just like every other generation of music, all of the bands ended up sounding exactly alike and too indistinguishable (except a select few). This 80's style is still huge for bar bands, but beyond that I doubt it will ever truly come back.
Just an 80's wild child's $0.02 worth....

Hey guys I think maybe Em and I need to send you some really good Aussie Rock music..classics like Barnsey (jimmy Barnes ) Rose Tattoo..The Angels..want to go further back?..what about the Good old Easybeats?

what do you reckon Em?
We teach these guys that theres more to Aussie rock than AccaDacca??
