What is the best computer program to use for analyzing Evp's
I can't seem to get a straight answer on this and I don't have the cash flow to go testing a bunch of expensive programs.
Does anyone here have any favorites |

Here is a screenshot of Winrad, which is awesome for signal analysis but you have to know a little about radio signals and signal structure to play with it.

You can find cracks for Cool Edit Pro everywhere that will turn the free trial version into a full $300.00 version. It was actually purchased by Adobe a couple years ago though, so if you want one of the latest versions, it's called Adobe Audition now.
EVPMaker.... LOL! What a joke that program is, eh Frank? The AAEVP site used to (probably still do) have a warning saying that people had reported experiencing poltergeist activity in their homes after using it....

Poltergeist from software? ummmmm... that's a bit odd. But I'll stay away just in case
Thanks for the screen shot fratka. It looks Greek to me but I'm a quick study. So my best options are Cool Edit Pro (Adobe Audition), Audacity and Winrad.
Thanks for the advice. |

I find EVPmaker to be a little iffy but it has some basically good instructions in the manual for the beginner.
I use Winrad only for ITC because I can scan and listen to frequencies within a specific spectrum. If you wanna go the *ahem* illegal route with a crack thats fine but you are on your own finding the crack.
I really like audacity though, its easy to use and really versatile for a free audio editing program. _________________ Frank Ratka

What's the best way to analyze sound on a video clip? I have a cell phone video clip that I accidently captured EVP on. Any tips?
Thanks! |

If you can't hook your phone up to your PC then just hold a mic up to it while it's playing. You can use Windows Voice Recorder to get it on your PC.
