A VISIT FROM A DECEASED GREAT-GRANDMOTHER

ABOUT SIX YEARS AGO, I LIVED IN A TOWNHOUSE WITH MY MOM, STEP-DAD AND SISTER. ONE NIGHT, WHILE I WAS WITH MY REAL DAD, I GOT A CALL FROM MY MOM. SHE SAID THAT MY STEP-DAD'S GRANDMA, WHO HAD BEEN HOSPITALIZED FOR A WHILE, HAD JUST DIED. SHE ASKED IF I WANTED TO GO SAY GOODBYE, BECAUSE MARC (MY STEP-DAD) WAS OUT OF TOWN, BUT I SAID NO, SO SHE WENT BYE HERSELF.

ABOUT A MONTH LATER, MY MOM WAS WOKEN UP BY A VOICE CALLING HER NAME. SHE SAID IT DIDN'T SOUND LIKE MARC'S VOICE, MINE, OR MY SISTER'S. SHE SAID IT SOUNDED LIKE MARC'S DECEASED GRANDMOTHER. SHE OPENED HER EYES AND SAW A FIGURE, BUT THEN IT VANISHED. NO LESS THAN A MINUTE LATER, MY MOTHER'S ALARM WENT OFF. LATER ON SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE THOUGHT THAT HIS GRANDMA WAS SAYING THANK YOU FOR SAYING GOODBYE. I HOWEVER, AM QUESTIONING THAT NOW. I THINK SHE WAS WARNING MY MOTHER ABOUT MARC, BECAUSE 5 YEARS LATER MY MOM FOUND PROOF OF HIM CHEATING ON HER. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I THINK THAT, BUT IT JUST FEELS RIGHT. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

It's hard to say what it meant or if your mum could have just dreamed the encounter but i do believe that contact is made once a person dies, I don’t think that in every case a spirit will show themselves but I think they send tiny signs to say they are OK. In this case I think that your step father’s grandmother may have come to your mum, because your mum was there to say goodbye to her in this world and she may have come to your mum to say thanks for helping her pass to the next world. Please don’t see it as a bad thing though, even in the case that your step father did a horrible thing to your mum, I think you will find that the connection between your Mum and his grandmother could have been stronger then what you think……..
