This is probably my favorite photo i've ever captured during an investigation. I have tried to duplicate this photo at the same location dozens of times each time we have returned to this location and it cannot be recreated. The photo is of "Collin's Tomb" at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. For in depth reports on our investigations and the history of this location, be sure to check out our Chestnut Grove Cemetery Investigation Reports.
Blown Up Versions
I call this photo "A Demon At The Gates", because the "being"? seems to have two classic horns coming out of the top of his head. Whether it is actually a demon or not is debatable of course....

I remember this photo from a while back. Did you ever go back and check the stone for any patterns that could form this image? _________________ Frank Ratka

There is no stone on this part of the tomb. This "thing" showed up right at the upper part of the door, which has a gate in front of it. We literally have hundreds of comparison photos, taken by a half a dozen different cameras, from all different angles, over about 8 return visits to this location. This is one of the few photos I have captured that truely have no explanation....
A couple interesting things about this particular part of the cemetery:
- I have had two personal experiences right in front of the Charles Collins tomb on two seperate visits. The first time, I was standing there in between pictures, waiting for a picture to finish processing. I was holding my camera in one hand, while I was kinda looking away, talking to some of the other people in the group when "something" seemed to grab a hold of my camera and start shaking it up and down. I literally told the others, "Look at this! Something is shaking my camera!" and you could see my whole hand moving up and down. This probably continued for about 30 seconds or so.
During another visit, we had been standing in just about the exact location where the camera incident had happened. We had been "taunting" Charles Collins by banging on the front of the tomb and yelling obscenities. When we went to walk away, I felt as though something was.... "trying to get inside of my head". I became somewhat disoriented for about a good 30 seconds or so. When it first started, I just kinda stopped in my tracks and spun around in a circle saying, "What the fuck was that!?". The others were just looking at me like I was crazy of course.... LOL! That was the second time this had happened to me in that cemetery (the other time was in a different section of the cemetery).
- Another interesting thing about the Collins Tomb is, a fellow ghost hunter friend of mine who lives in the town where the Chestnut Grove Cemetery is located captured a photo of what "seems" to be Charles Collins himslef on the front of the tomb. Here is a link to some of the photos he has captured at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery:
Ohio Ghost Researchers - Chestnut Grove Cemetery Pics
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find the photos of what they believe to be Charles Collins, along with comparisons.
Definitely the most interesting and "most likely to be haunted" location out of all the places we've investigated....
