The Strange Happenings Ghost And Hauntings Research Society is a "not for profit" organization, completely supported by it's members. Many organizations have web sites, servers and Internet bandwidth donated by it's members and/or other organizations, grants or sponsors, etc. Unfortunately, we do not. This means that we need all the support we can get. By making a donation you are not only supporting our community, but also to the future study of spirits and the afterlife. Since we do not have our servers, bandwidth or our tools of the trade donated and nor do we charge for our services, we have to pay for these things out of pocket just to keep the SHGHRS alive. For those of you who can, we ask that you make a monetary contribution in whatever denomination you are able to comfortably offer. Every little bit counts.

Every cent of our donations are used to keep this informative website on the internet, to purchase better tools and instruments and to help us continue the study and further research of ghosts, spirits and the afterlife. It also allows us to continue not only providing our investigations absolutely free of charge to those who need them, but also to continue taking money directly out of our own pockets to do so. We feel that continued ghost study and the furthering of our knowledge of the afterlife is extremely important and there is much more to it than meets the eye. We feel that if everyone knew beyond a shadow of doubt that an afterlife exists and what it may have in store for them, based on the actions they take throughout life, the world might be a much better and safer place for us all. When and if these and other secrets of the universe become known and are no longer "theories", perhaps we as a society will then strive to be better people. For then, there may truely be reason to fear the consequences....
