"A Spirit I Have" - The Story

hello,
we live on the east side of Erie, PA. at "Address # 4 in Erie, PA"and i think we have a spirit....ive heard the steps creaking and no one is there......the upstairs hallway light turns itself on and off....ive noticed a bright lite in the hallway and our bedroom door pops open.....we used to live in a trailer at "Address # 1 in Erie, PA". this trailer was also haunted i would hear voices and see things....we sold it and moved.....do u think they may have followed us?

hello,
yes u could come anytime...we currently live at "Address # 4 in Erie, PA". someone online told me my husband who has bipolar and manic depression could be attracting spirits....even before i met him i seen things and heard things that just doesnt make sense.....for awhile i thought i was going crazy. i had lived in this neighborhood two doors down in 1997 but since then i moved to an apartment at "Address # 3 in Erie, PA." ....nothing was there i lived there for about a year and a half and seen or heard nothing.....

when i lived at "Address # 2 in Erie, PA." that house was full of activity my daughter then 17 was scared to be there alone...she said she would turn the light on and before she got up the stairs it would be shut off......

when i lived at "Address # 3 in Erie, PA." i heard voices and on two occasions.....one time i was down stairs i fell asleep on the couch and i felt something hold me down i couldnt get up i never slept on the couch again....then i was upstairs in my room it was about 530 in the morning i remember my hearing my son in the bathroom getting ready for school....i felt something sit on the bed and then it was holding me down and i couldnt get up i tried yelling for my son but couldnt ...finally it let me go and i jumped up and turned the light on....after that i slept with the tv on and never felt it again......we moved from there to the apartment at "Address # 3 in Erie, PA" and nothing happened there....

i got married and my husband wanted to buy a trailer so we went and looked at the one at "Address # 1 in Erie, PA" and i didnt want to move there i didnt like the way the place felt.....but my husband insisted ....well we moved in the day we moved in i got really sick i was sick for 4 days i couldnt even unpack.....it started a month after we were there i would hear voices....one night i heard what i thought was my oldest sons voice begging me to let him in....it was 3 oclock in the morning.....he lives in cranesville, pa and i called him and he was home there was no way he couldve raced home...its like a 20 minute drive....

one night i seen a dark shadow walk down the hallway i thought maybe it was my husband getting out of bed ..he was out of bed but on the other side of the bed and no way was it him.....at that time i had a baby bird i was handfeeding i was in the kitchen late at night and i felt something brush by me and i seen a glimpse of like a shadow.....i hurried up and fed that baby bird and went back to bed......i hated that place...i got so i shut my bedroom door atnight cause i didnt want to see what was going to be out in the livng room or hallway that night.....i used to attribute it to maybe dreaming and waking up in the middle of night and imaging i seen those things.....i would hear knocking nothing there.....our boxer who was a puppy then would take his ball and toss it up in the air and would stand in the hall way wiggling his little tail....like he was waiting for someone that wasnt there to grab his ball and throw it back....we were in the bedroom at the end of the trailer and he was facing the living in the hallway.....so he wasnt waiting for us to toss it back....the thing that finally made us move was the night i felt the trailer shake and i seen a pair of grey wings fly thru the bedroom doorway....i had enough i told frank no more if he wanted to stay he could i was leaving...we moved before we sold the trailer.....we had a hard time selling it we sold it on a land contract ...the woman who bought it now has it up for sale....i never told her about what went on there because i was afraid she wouldnt buy it......and i basically thought she would think i was nuts anyway so what was the point.....the trailer is across from a cemetary so they maybe helped with spirits being there......

now to the place we currently live....its not as bad as the trailer......like i said the steps creak and the light turns on and off by itself ....a bright light in the hallway and the door popping open.....one night my husband got out of bed to go to the bathroom he stopped at the doorway and kind of waited and then went into the bathroom.....he came back and said i think i saw a ghost....he said he seen a man with a beard... slightly older man grey hair walk by him and go thru the wall at the top of the stairs....here ive never seen a spirit ...ive just heard the stairs creaking when no one is on them......like someone is walking up them....but no one is there....i ve seen the bright light and the door pops open but not all the time its just when the bright light comes on in the hallway....lve felt something jump over me in the bed before but only when the lights are shut off....i now sleep with the tv on all night...the stair creaking happens a lot....i realize this is an old house it was built in 1916 so there is bound to be a spirit here....i just wish they would leave me alone......it makes me feel uneasy but not threatened............thanks for listening to me i do know i sound like im nuts but im not...

We had initially scheduled the first investigation for March 22, 2004, but the residents had to cancel at the last minute. We hadn't heard from them for awhile, so we had assumed that they changed their mind about us doing the investigation. We recently received the following email from one of the residents:

Email # 3 - Friday, May 14, 2004

hi..
u were going to do a investigation before ...but my husband wasnt feeling well...he went into the hospital shortly after that and i never got ahold of u......last night i experience a very strange experience....my husband was having trouble sleeping....he had went into the hospital because of siezures then they changed his meds and now he is having trouble again...he keeps telling me he is hearing voices......but then again it may be because of the meds.......but anyway i was trying to sleep on the couch downstairs because he was keeping me awake upstairs......when i first laid down on the couch the tv was off and i thought i seen a shadow go between were the living room and dining room meets....so i turned on the tv but turned it down.........then i started falling asleep and i heard this really loud panting i thought maybe it was the dog but it was really loud i had the fan on and i still heard it ...i thought okay maybe im dreaming ....so i again try to go to sleep....then i feel something pat the throw pillows on the couch i had them under my bed pillow........that was enough for me i got up and went back upstairs...if u have time do u think u could do that ghost thing u were going to do before....i would really appreciate i dont know why but i feel it has gotten a little stronger here or whatever that was last night didnt want me downstairs......
